يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلْ مَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ
English Transliteration: Yas’aloonaka meazea yunfikoon(yunfikoona), kul mea anfaaktum min haayrin fa lil vealidayni val aakraabeena val yateamea val maseakeeni vabnis sabeel(sabeeli), va mea taf’aaloo min haayrin fa innaalleaha bihee aaleem(aaleemun).
They ask you what they should spend (in the Way of Allah)? Say: “Whatever you spend of good (in the Way of Allah) must be for the parents and the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the stranded, and whatever you do of good, truly, Allah knows it well”.
