« Verse-11 »
وَإِن فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَآتُوا الَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَاجُهُم مِّثْلَ مَا أَنفَقُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ
English Transliteration: Va in featakum shay’un min azveacikum ilal kuffeari fa eakaabtum fa eatoollazeena zahabat azveacuhum misla mea anfakoo, vattakoolleahallazee antum bihee moo’minoon(moo’minoona).
And if anything (Mahr) has passed away from you to the disbelievers because of your wives (if the disbelievers do not give the Mahr to the women that come to you after divorcing them), then when your turn comes, you give (Mahr) to those whose wives have gone away (to the disbelievers) the like of what they have spent (from the booty you received), and you have piety towards Allah in Whom you believe!
