Al-Mumtahanah-4, Surah 60-The Woman to be examined (Al-Mumtahanah) Verse# 4

60/Al-Mumtahanah-4: Indeed Abraham and those with him had been an excellent example for you. They had said to their people: “We are certainly far from you and what you worship besides Allah, we deny you. And until you believe in Allah Alone, enmity and resentment have begun between us and you forever”. Except the statement of Abraham to his father: “Verily, I will ask forgiveness (from Allah) for you, but I have no power to prevent anything that would come to you from Allah. Our Lord! In You we put our trust, and to You we turned. And to You is the return”. (English Transliteration: Kaad keanat lakum usvatun haasanatun fee ibreaheema vallazeena maaah(maaahu), iz kealoo li kaavmihim innea buraeau minkum va mimmea taa’budoona min doonilleahi kafarnea bikum, va badaa baynanea va baynakumul aadeavatu val baagdeau abadan haattea too’minoo billeahi vaahdahoo, illea kaavla ibreaheema li abeehi la astaagfiranna laka va mea amliku laka minaalleahi min shay’In, raabbanea aalayka tavakkalnea va ilayka anabnea va ilaykal maaseer(maaseeru).)
