« Verse-38 »
وَاتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ آبَآئِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ مَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نُّشْرِكَ بِاللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ مِن فَضْلِ اللّهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ
English Transliteration: Vattabaa’tu millata eabeaee ibreaheema va isheakaa va yaa’koob(yaa’kooba), mea keana lanea an nushrika billeahi min shay(shay’in), zealika min faadlilleahi aalaynea va aalan neasi va leakinna aksaran neasi lea yashkuroon(yashkuroona).
And I have depended on the Religion of my forefathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It does not beseem us that we should associate anything with Allah as a partner. This is the Virtue of Allah upon us and upon mankind. But most people are not grateful.
