« Verse-8 »
وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ مَّعْدُودَةٍ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُ أَلاَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ
English Transliteration: Va la in aahhaarnea aanhumul aazeaba ilea ummatin maa'doodatin la yakoolunna mea yaahbisuhu, a lea yavma ya'teehim laysa maasroofan aanhum va heakaa bi him mea keanoo bihee yastahzioon(yastahzioona).
And if We delay the torment for them till a determined term, they are sure to say: “What prevents it”? On the day when it will come to them, it shall not be averted from them, shall it? They are enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
