48/Al-Fath-10: Surely those who swear allegiance to you do but swear allegiance to Allah. The Hand of Allah is on top of their hands (since Allah has manifested Himself in your body, He also has manifested Himself in your hand). Therefore whoever breaks (his covenant), he breaks it against his own soul (as he does not fulfill his vow, covenant, he causes his degrees to fall to negative), and whoever is faithful to his covenants with Allah (fulfills his oath, vow and covenant) then the Mighty Reward will be granted to him (the joy of this world and also heaven will be given).

Nay (no way), Allah is Ever All-Aware of what you do”.

(They) want to change the Word of Allah. Say (to them): “You cannot swear allegiance to us. Allah ordered so before”. Then (they) will say: “Nay! You are jealous of us”. Nay, they do not understand but a little.
