« Verse-32 »
يَا نِسَاء النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاء إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا
English Transliteration: Yea niseaan nabiyyi lastunna ka ahaadin minan nisaai inittakaaytunna fa lea taahdaa’na bil kaavli fa yaatmaaaallazee fee kaalbihee maaraadun va kulna kaavlan maa’roofea(maa’roofan).
O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other of the women. If you are the owners of piety, then be not soft in speech, (do not speak to men appealingly, lest he in whose heart is a disease (temptation, lust) desires. And speak a somber (serious) word.
