« Verse-42 »
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلنَآ إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْبَأْسَاء وَالضَّرَّاء لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
English Transliteration: Va lakaad arsalnea ilea umamin min kaablika fa ahaazneahum bil ba’seai vad daarreai laaallahum yatadaarraaoon(yatadaarraaoona).
And certainly We sent (Messengers) to nations (communities) before you. Then We seized them with distress and affliction in order that they might implore.
