Listen Quran: 2/Al-Baqarah-102
2/Al-Baqarah-102: They followed what the devils (satans) had (falsely) related about the kingdom of Solomon. Yet Solomon (Sulaimân) did not disbelieve (He did not practice sorcery and he did not become a disbeliever), but the devils (satans) disbelieved teaching men magic, and that which was sent down to Hârût and Mârût, the two angels at Babylon. Yet these two (angels) taught no man (this teaching) until they had said: “Surely we are only a trial (for you), therefore, do not be disbelievers (by learning this magic from us)”. And from these two, people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah’s Leave. And they learn that which harms them and does not profit them. And surely they learnt that he who bought it (the magic and learning concerning it) would have no share in the Hereafter; and evil was the price for which they sold their souls; had they but known this.
Listen Quran: 2/Al-Baqarah-103
2/Al-Baqarah-103: And if they had believed (had become âmenû to Allah, had wished to reach Allah before dying) and had become pious [the owners of piety (Takvâ)] a reward (to be granted) from Allah would have been better, if they had but known!
Listen Quran: 2/Al-Baqarah-104
2/Al-Baqarah-104: O you who believe! Do not say “Raina: Tend us, look after us”! But say “Unzurna: Deal with us, take care of us, make us understand”. And listen (to the Decree of Allah). And for the disbelievers there is a painful torment.
Listen Quran: 2/Al-Baqarah-105
2/Al-Baqarah-105: Neither the disbelievers among the people of the Book nor the associators (idolaters) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allah assigns His Mercy to whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Virtue (Mighty Grace).
