وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا فَجَاءهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ
Transliteration: Wakam min qaryatin ahlaknaha fajaaha basuna bayatan aw hum qailoona
And how many a town have We destroyed! So Our severe torment came to it by night or while they were taking their midday nap (while they slept at midday).
