91/Ash-Shams-1:

(I swear) by the sun and its midmorning (its brightness).
91/Ash-Shams-2:

And (by) the moon as it follows it (the sun).
91/Ash-Shams-3:

And (by) the day when (as) it displays it [it shows up (the sun’s) brightness)
91/Ash-Shams-4:

And (by) the night when it draws a veil over it (when it covers it and removes its rays).
91/Ash-Shams-5:

And (by) the heaven and Him Who built it.
91/Ash-Shams-6:

And (by) the earth and Him Who spread it (extended it and made it inhabitable).
91/Ash-Shams-7:
Wanafsin wam

a
And the soul and Him Who shaped it harmoniously (so as to turn into the best through seven stages).
91/Ash-Shams-8:
Faalhamah

a
Then He inspired it its wickedness (Fujûr) and its piety (Takwâ).
91/Ash-Shams-9:
Qad afla

h
a
Indeed he succeeded (he attained to the Salvation) who purifies it (his soul’s heart).
91/Ash-Shams-10:
Waqad kh

a
And he is ruined (he has undergone Loss) who stunted it [tried to inter it (his soul’s vices); who has not purified his soul’s heart].
91/Ash-Shams-11:

(The tribe of) Thamûd denied (belied) (Allah’s Messenger) because of their inordinacy.
91/Ash-Shams-12:

When the most unfortunate (detached from the Truth) of them rose up (volunteered) (to kill the she-camel).
91/Ash-Shams-13:

So Allah’s Messenger said to them: This is Allah’s she-camel.Let her drink (comply with its turn of drinking).
91/Ash-Shams-14:

a
Then they denied (belied) him and slaughtered her (hamstrung her), therefore their Lord crushed them for their sin and levelled them (with the ground).
91/Ash-Shams-15:

And He does not fear its consequence.
