32/As-Sajda-1: Aliflammeem
Alif-Lâm-Mîm [These disjointed letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
32/As-Sajda-2: Tanzeelu alkitabi la rayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameena
The sending down of the Book in which there is no doubt is from the Lord of the Worlds.
32/As-Sajda-3: Am yaqooloona iftarahu bal huwa alhaqqu min rabbika litunthira qawman ma atahum min natheerin min qablika laAAallahum yahtadoona
Or do they say: He has forged it? Nay! it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner (no prophet) has come before you, in order that they may be guided (they may reach Guidance).
32/As-Sajda-4: Allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi ma lakum min doonihi min waliyyin wala shafeeAAin afala tatathakkaroona
Allah is it He Who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in Six Days (Six Periods). Then He rose over (mounted, Istiwâ) the Throne (‘Arsh). There is for you besides Him any protecting friend (walî) or an intercessor; will you not then deliberate (remember, receive admonition)?
32/As-Sajda-5: Yudabbiru alamra mina alssamai ila alardi thumma yaAAruju ilayhi fee yawmin kana miqdaruhu alfa sanatin mimma taAAuddoona
He (manages and) regulates the Affairs (Orders, all that comes from Allah, accomplishes an affair and returns to Allah) from the heaven to the earth; then it ascends to Him in a “day” the measure of it is a thousand years of what you count (according to your measurements in the world).
32/As-Sajda-6: Thalika AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadati alAAazeezu alrraheemu
That is the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of the Most Merciful).
32/As-Sajda-7: Allathee ahsana kulla shayin khalaqahu wabadaa khalqa alinsani min teenin
Who made everything He has created the most beautiful (the best) and He began the creation of man from clay.
32/As-Sajda-8: Thumma jaAAala naslahu min sulalatin min main maheenin
Then He made his progeny of an extract of despised water (of semen).
32/As-Sajda-9: Thumma sawwahu wanafakha feehi min roohihi wajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waalabsara waalafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroona
Then He fashioned him in due proportion (sevvâhu) and breathed into him (into the physical body) of His spirit, and made for you hearing and sight (faculties of seeing) and inner hearts; Little is the thanks you give!
32/As-Sajda-10: Waqaloo aitha dalalna fee alardi ainna lafee khalqin jadeedin bal hum biliqai rabbihim kafiroona
And they say: What! When we have become lost in the earth, shall we then certainly be in a new creation? Nay! they are disbelievers in the Meeting with their Lord (in reaching their Lord while they are living).
32/As-Sajda-11: Qul yatawaffakum malaku almawti allathee wukkila bikum thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona
Say: The angel of death, who is given charge of you shall cause you to die, then to your Lord you shall be brought back.
32/As-Sajda-12: Walaw tara ithi almujrimoona nakisoo ruoosihim AAinda rabbihim rabbana absarna wasamiAAna faarjiAAna naAAmal salihan inna mooqinoona
And if you only could see when the criminals (the guilty) shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back (to the world), let us do improving deeds (let us do the soul’s purification); surely (now) We believe with certainty (We have been certain of the truths).
32/As-Sajda-13: Walaw shina laatayna kulla nafsin hudaha walakin haqqa alqawlu minnee laamlaanna jahannama mina aljinnati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena
And if We had willed, We would certainly have given to every soul its Guidance (We would certainly have caused every soul to attain to Guidance). But the Word (which had gone forth) from Me took affect (has been justified): I will certainly fill Hell with the Jinn and the men together.
32/As-Sajda-14: Fathooqoo bima naseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha inna naseenakum wathooqoo AAathaba alkhuldi bima kuntum taAAmaloona
So taste (the torment of the Fire) because you forgot (neglected) the meeting of this Day of yours; surely We (too) forgot you; so taste the abiding torment for what you used to do.
32/As-Sajda-15: Innama yuminu biayatina allatheena itha thukkiroo biha kharroo sujjadan wasabbahoo bihamdi rabbihim wahum la yastakbiroona
Only those believe in Our Signs (Verses) who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate, and glorify their Lord with praise and they are not proud.
32/As-Sajda-16: Tatajafa junoobuhum AAani almadajiAAi yadAAoona rabbahum khawfan watamaAAan wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona
Their sides draw away from (their) beds, they call upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and they spend out of what We have given them as sustenance.
32/As-Sajda-17: Fala taAAlamu nafsun ma okhfiya lahum min qurrati aAAyunin jazaan bima kanoo yaAAmaloona
So no soul knows what is hidden for them of that which will refresh the eyes, as a reward for what they used to do.
32/As-Sajda-18: Afaman kana muminan kaman kana fasiqan la yastawoona
Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor (a Fâsıq, the one who is not in the Way of Allah, or have gone out of it)? They are not equal.
32/As-Sajda-19: Amma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati falahum jannatu almawa nuzulan bima kanoo yaAAmaloona
As for those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are living) and do improving deeds (do the soul’s purification), for them are Gardens of Retreat (Me’vâ), a welcome in reward for what they used to do.
32/As-Sajda-20: Waamma allatheena fasaqoo famawahumu alnnaru kullama aradoo an yakhrujoo minha oAAeedoo feeha waqeela lahum thooqoo AAathaba alnnari allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona
And as for those who transgress (who deviate from the right Way of Allah), their retreat (me’vâ) is the Fire; whenever they desire to go forth from it, they are brought back into it, and it is said to them: Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to deny (belie).
32/As-Sajda-21: Walanutheeqannahum mina alAAathabi aladna doona alAAathabi alakbari laAAallahum yarjiAAoona
And most certainly We will make them taste of the nearer torment before the greater torment that haply they may turn (to Allah by wishing to reach Him).
32/As-Sajda-22: Waman athlamu mimman thukkira biayati rabbihi thumma aAArada AAanha inna mina almujrimeena muntaqimoona
And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Verses (Signs) of his Lord, then he turns away from them? Surely We shall take vengeance from the criminals.
32/As-Sajda-23: Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba fala takun fee miryatin min liqaihi wajaAAalnahu hudan libanee israeela
And certainly We gave the Book to Moses, so be not in doubt about meeting with Him (about making your spirit reach Allah while you are living) and We made it (the Torah) a guide [that which makes (men) reach Allah] for the Children of Israel.
32/As-Sajda-24: WajaAAalna minhum aimmatan yahdoona biamrina lamma sabaroo wakanoo biayatina yooqinoona
And We made of them Imams (religious leaders) who make (men) attain to Guidance by Our Command when they were the owners of Patience and believed with certainty (at the level of the true Certainty).
32/As-Sajda-25: Inna rabbaka huwa yafsilu baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona
Surely your Lord will distinguish (judge) between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ.
32/As-Sajda-26: Awalam yahdi lahum kam ahlakna min qablihim mina alqurooni yamshoona fee masakinihim inna fee thalika laayatin afala yasmaAAoona
Is it not a Guidance for them (Has not this caused them to reach Guidance): How many of the generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Most surely there are Signs in this; will they not then hear?
32/As-Sajda-27: Awalam yaraw anna nasooqu almaa ila alardi aljuruzi fanukhriju bihi zarAAan takulu minhu anAAamuhum waanfusuhum afala yubsiroona
Have they not seen how We drive water to the dry land that has no vegetation, then We bring forth thereby seed-produce (crops) of which their cattle and they themselves eat; will they not then see?
32/As-Sajda-28: Wayaqooloona mata hatha alfathu in kuntum sadiqeena
And they say: When will the Opening (Fath, Decision) take place, if you are truthful?
32/As-Sajda-29: Qul yawma alfathi la yanfaAAu allatheena kafaroo eemanuhum wala hum yuntharoona
Say: On the Day of Al-Fath (the Opening, the Decision) the faith of those who disbelieve will not profit them, nor will they be respited (reprieved).
32/As-Sajda-30: FaaAArid AAanhum waintathir innahum muntathiroona
Therefore turn away from them and await (the event), they too are awaiting (it).
