61/As-Saff-1: Sabbaha lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth glorifies Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
61/As-Saff-2: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo lima taqooloona ma la tafAAaloona
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Why do you say that which you do not do?
61/As-Saff-3: Kabura maqtan AAinda Allahi an taqooloo ma la tafAAaloona
It is most hateful to Allah (It has been a great crime with Allah) that you should say what you do not do.
61/As-Saff-4: Inna Allaha yuhibbu allatheena yuqatiloona fee sabeelihi saffan kaannahum bunyanun marsoosun
Surely Allah loves those who fight in His Way forming a row (in a row) as if they were a solid structure.
61/As-Saff-5: Waith qala moosa liqawmihi ya qawmi lima tuthoonanee waqad taAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghoo azagha Allahu quloobahum waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena
And Moses had said to his people: O my people! Why do you annoy me? And you know indeed that I am Allah’s Messenger to you; but when they turned away (from the Truth), Allah made their hearts turn aside, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people (and Allah does not make the transgressing people attain to Guidance).
61/As-Saff-6: Waith qala AAeesa ibnu maryama ya banee israeela innee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawrati wamubashshiran birasoolin yatee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadu falamma jaahum bialbayyinati qaloo hatha sihrun mubeenun
And when Jesus, son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you, confirming (verifying) that which is before me of the Torah and giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me, whose name being Ahmad [i.e the second name of Prophet Muhammed and it (Ahmad) literally means; one who praises Allah more than others], but when he came to them with the clear arguments (the means of proof) they said: This is clear magic.
61/As-Saff-7: Waman athlamu mimmani iftara AAala Allahi alkathiba wahuwa yudAAa ila alislami waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
And who does more wrong than he who forges a lie against Allah and he is invited (called) to Islam (to the Surrenders) and Allah does not guide the wrong-doers (and Allah does not cause the wrong-doers to attain to Guidance).
61/As-Saff-8: Yureedoona liyutfioo noora Allahi biafwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walaw kariha alkafiroona
They desire to put out the Light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it).
61/As-Saff-9: Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bialhuda wadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala alddeeni kullihi walaw kariha almushrikoona
He it is Who sent His Messenger with the Guidance and the Religion of Truth (the pre-and post-eternal Religion) that He may expound it over the religions, all of them (and prove its truthfulness) even though the associators (polytheists) may be averse.
61/As-Saff-10: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo hal adullukum AAala tijaratin tunjeekum min AAathabin aleemin
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Shall I guide you to a trade (commerce) that will deliver you from a painful torment?
61/As-Saff-11: Tuminoona biAllahi warasoolihi watujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi biamwalikum waanfusikum thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona
You should believe in Allah and His Messenger and struggle hard in the Way of Allah with your property and your lives; that is better for you, if you but know it.
61/As-Saff-12: Yaghfir lakum thunoobakum wayudkhilkum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannati AAadnin thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu
He will forgive you your faults (sins) and cause you to enter into Gardens under which the rivers flow, and pleasant dwellings in Gardens of Eden (Perpetuity, the Very Source of Bliss); that is the mighty achievement (the mighty Salvation)
61/As-Saff-13: Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrun mina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshiri almumineena
And yet another thing you will love: help from Allah and a victory (conquest) near at hand; and give glad tidings to the believers.
61/As-Saff-14: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo koonoo ansara Allahi kama qala AAeesa ibnu maryama lilhawariyyeena man ansaree ila Allahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaru Allahi faamanat taifatun min banee israeela wakafarat taifatun faayyadna allatheena amanoo AAala AAaduwwihim faasbahoo thahireena
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Be helpers (in the Way of) Allah, as Jesus, son of Mary, said to (his) disciples; Who are my helpers in the Way (leading) to Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the Way) of Allah. So a party of the Children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We strengthened those who believed against their enemy, and they became the uppermost (the victorious).
