Allah’s Commandment has come, so do not seek to hasten it (the realization of its content) Glory be to Him, and highly Exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).
16/An-Nahl-2: Yunazzilu almalaikata bialrroohi min amrihi AAala man yashao min AAibadihi an anthiroo annahu la ilaha illa ana faittaqooni
He sends down the angels with the spirit from His Command on whom He wills of His servants. Warn mankind that there is no god but Me, therefore have piety towards Me (be careful of your duty to Me).

He has created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly Exalted be He above what they associate (with Him).
16/An-Nahl-4: Khalaqa alinsana min nutfatin faitha huwa khaseemun mubeenun
He has created man from a drop of fluid (a small seed, nutfah), then behold, he becomes an open opponent (disputer, contender).
16/An-Nahl-5: WaalanAAama khalaqaha lakum feeha difon wamanafiAAu waminha takuloona
And (as for) the cattle, He created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing) and numerous benefits; and of them you eat.

And there is beauty in them for you when you bring them home in the evening, and when you bring them out to pasture in the morning.
16/An-Nahl-7: Watahmilu athqalakum ila baladin lam takoonoo baligheehi illa bishiqqi alanfusi inna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun
And they carry your loads to regions which you could not reach except with distress of the souls (with great trouble to yourselves); most surely your Lord is Compassionate (Kind), Most Merciful.
16/An-Nahl-8: Waalkhayla waalbighala waalhameera litarkabooha wazeenatan wayakhluqu ma la taAAlamoona
And (He has created) horses, mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as ornament; and He creates what you do not know.
16/An-Nahl-9: WaAAala Allahi qasdu alssabeeli waminha jairun walaw shaa lahadakum ajmaAAeena
And unto Allah is the appointing of the Way [of all the ways extending from the dervish convents to the Straight Path (leading to Allah), that is, of the saint guides (murshids)] and there are some deviating (from the Way) and if Allah had willed, He would have caused you all to attain to Guidance.
16/An-Nahl-10: Huwa allathee anzala mina alssamai maan lakum minhu sharabun waminhu shajarun feehi tuseemoona
He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; there is for you from it (water) a drink and there are trees (and grass) on which you send your cattle to pasture.
16/An-Nahl-11: Yunbitu lakum bihi alzzarAAa waalzzaytoona waalnnakheela waalaAAnaba wamin kulli alththamarati inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona
He causes to grow for you with it herbage, and the olives and the date-palms and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a Sign in this for a people who reflect (think deeply).
16/An-Nahl-12: Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnahara waalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomu musakhkharatun biamrihi inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yaAAqiloona
And He has subjected to you the night and the day and the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Most surely there are Signs in this for a people who use their intelligence.
16/An-Nahl-13: Wama tharaa lakum fee alardi mukhtalifan alwanuhu inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaththakkaroona
And what He has created in the earth of varied hues; most surely there is a Sign in this for a people who remember (deliberate).
16/An-Nahl-14: Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahra litakuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoo minhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulka mawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona
And He it is Who made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh tender meat from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His Bounty and that you may be grateful (give thanks).
16/An-Nahl-15: Waalqa fee alardi rawasiya an tameeda bikum waanharan wasubulan laAAallakum tahtadoona
And He has cast great mountains in the earth lest it might shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves (that you may reach Guidance).
16/An-Nahl-16: WaAAalamatin wabialnnajmi hum yahtadoona
And landmarks; and by the star (by the Imam of the Age) they find their right way (they attain to Guidance).
16/An-Nahl-17: Afaman yakhluqu kaman la yakhluqu afala tathakkaroona
Is He then Who creates like him who does not create? Will you not then remember (deliberate, take heed, mind)?
16/An-Nahl-18: Wain taAAuddoo niAAmata Allahi la tuhsooha inna Allaha laghafoorun raheemun
And if you would count the Blessings of Allah, you will not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
16/An-Nahl-19: WaAllahu yaAAlamu ma tusirroona wama tuAAlinoona
And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal (disclose).
16/An-Nahl-20: Waallatheena yadAAoona min dooni Allahi la yakhluqoona shayan wahum yukhlaqoona
And those whom they call on besides Allah have not created anything and they are themselves created.
16/An-Nahl-21: Amwatun ghayru ahyain wama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona
(They are) dead, not alive; and they do not know when they will be raised up (resurrected).
16/An-Nahl-22: Ilahukum ilahun wahidun faallatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati quloobuhum munkiratun wahum mustakbiroona
Your God is one God; so (as for) those who do not believe in the hereafter (in making the spirits reach Allah before dying), their hearts are deniers and they are arrogant (proud).
16/An-Nahl-23: La jarama anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahu la yuhibbu almustakbireena
Certainly (without doubt) Allah knows what they conceal and what they manifest; surely He does not love the arrogant (proud).
16/An-Nahl-24: Waitha qeela lahum matha anzala rabbukum qaloo asateeru alawwaleena
And when it is said to them: What is it that your Lord has sent down? They say: Tales of the ancients.
16/An-Nahl-25: Liyahmiloo awzarahum kamilatan yawma alqiyamati wamin awzari allatheena yudilloonahum bighayri AAilmin ala saa ma yaziroona
That they may bear their own burdens in full (entirely) on the Day of Resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray (whom they caused to remain in (Misguidance) without knowledge; now surely evil is what they bear, is it not?
16/An-Nahl-26: Qad makara allatheena min qablihim faata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawaAAidi fakharra AAalayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona
Those before them indeed plotted, but Allah demolished their building from the foundations, so the roof fell down on them from above and the torment came to them from where they did not perceive.
16/An-Nahl-27: Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehim wayaqoolu ayna shurakaiya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoona feehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizya alyawma waalssooa AAala alkafireena
Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will degrade them and say: Where are My (so-called) partners (associates) concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute? Those who are given the knowledge will say: Surely the disgrace and the evil are this Day upon the disbelievers.
16/An-Nahl-28: Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu thalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalama ma kunna naAAmalu min sooin bala inna Allaha AAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona
Those whom the angels cause to die while they are wronging themselves will make full submission (claiming): We did nothing evil. (The angels will say): Yes! Truly, Allah is All-Knower of what You used to do.
16/An-Nahl-29: Faodkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideena feeha falabisa mathwa almutakabbireena
Therefore enter the gates of Hell, to dwell in it (forever); so certainly evil is the dwelling-place of the arrogant (of those who put on airs).
16/An-Nahl-30: Waqeela lillatheena ittaqaw matha anzala rabbukum qaloo khayran lillatheena ahsanoo fee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waladaru alakhirati khayrun walaniAAma daru almuttaqeena
And it is said to those who have piety: What is it that your Lord has sent down? They say: (That which is) good (beauties). For those who are the best (for those who have submitted their free wills to Allah) there are goodness (beauties, rewards, positive degrees) in this world and certainly the Home of the Hereafter is much better; and certainly most excellent is the Abode of the pious (the owners of piety, takwâ).
16/An-Nahl-31: Jannatu AAadnin yadkhuloonaha tajree min tahtiha alanharu lahum feeha ma yashaoona kathalika yajzee Allahu almuttaqeena
Gardens of Eden (the Very source of Bliss), they shall enter them, the rivers flowing under them; they shall have in them all that they wish. Thus does Allah reward the pious (the owners of piety).
16/An-Nahl-32: Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu tayyibeena yaqooloona salamun AAalaykumu odkhuloo aljannata bima kuntum taAAmaloona
Those whom the angels cause to die in a good (and clean) state saying (to them): Peace be upon you: Enter the Garden (Paradise) for what you used to do (in the world).
16/An-Nahl-33: Hal yanthuroona illa an tatiyahumu almalaikatu aw yatiya amru rabbika kathalika faAAala allatheena min qablihim wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona
Do they await but that the angels should come to them, or there should come the Command of your Lord? Thus did those before them. And Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
16/An-Nahl-34: Faasabahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona
So the evil results of what they did overtook them, and that which they used to mock at surrounded them.
16/An-Nahl-35: Waqala allatheena ashrakoo law shaa Allahu ma AAabadna min doonihi min shayin nahnu wala abaona wala harramna min doonihi min shayin kathalika faAAala allatheena min qablihim fahal AAala alrrusuli illa albalaghu almubeenu
And they who give associates (to Allah) say: If Allah had (so) willed, we would not have served anything besides Allah, (neither) we nor our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything without (Command from) Him. Thus did those before them; is then anything incumbent upon the Messengers except a plain conveying (of the Message)?
16/An-Nahl-36: Walaqad baAAathna fee kulli ommatin rasoolan ani oAAbudoo Allaha waijtaniboo alttaghoota faminhum man hada Allahu waminhum man haqqat AAalayhi alddalalatu faseeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena
And certainly, We have raised (brought to life, charged with a duty) in every nation a Messenger (saying): Serve (become servants to) Allah and avoid the Tâgût (Satans, satans from the men and the jinn) So there were some of them whom Allah caused to attain to Guidance (those who have wished to reach Allah upon the call of the Messenger) and of them were some upon whom Misguidance was justified. So travel in the land, then see what was the end of the deniers.
16/An-Nahl-37: In tahris AAala hudahum fainna Allaha la yahdee man yudillu wama lahum min nasireena
Even if you covet for their Guidance, yet surely Allah does not guide him whom He leaves in Misguidance (unless he wishes to reach Allah before dying) and there is for them any one of the helpers.
16/An-Nahl-38: Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim la yabAAathu Allahu man yamootu bala waAAdan AAalayhi haqqan walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona
And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths: Allah will not raise up (bring to life again) him who dies.Yes! (It is) a promise (binding) upon Him in truth, but most people do not know.
16/An-Nahl-39: Liyubayyina lahumu allathee yakhtalifoona feehi waliyaAAlama allatheena kafaroo annahum kanoo kathibeena
So that He might make manifest to them that about which they differ, and that those who disbelieve might know that they were liars.
16/An-Nahl-40: Innama qawluna lishayin itha aradnahu an naqoola lahu kun fayakoonu
The only Word We say to a thing when We will it, is that We say to it, “Be”! and it is.
16/An-Nahl-41: Waallatheena hajaroo fee Allahi min baAAdi ma thulimoo lanubawwiannahum fee alddunya hasanatan walaajru alakhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona
And as for those emigrated in (the Way of) Allah after they were wronged, We shall surely give them a good Lodging in the world, and the reward of the Hereafter is certainly much greater, if they but knew!
16/An-Nahl-42: Allatheena sabaroo waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona
(They are) those who remained patient (against the wrong done to them) and put their trust in their Lord.
16/An-Nahl-43: Wama arsalna min qablika illa rijalan noohee ilayhim faisaloo ahla alththikri in kuntum la taAAlamoona
And We did not send before you any but men to whom We sent revelation, so ask the owners of the Remembrance (dhikr, those who repeat the Name of Allah continuously) if you do not know.
16/An-Nahl-44: Bialbayyinati waalzzuburi waanzalna ilayka alththikra litubayyina lilnnasi ma nuzzila ilayhim walaAAallahum yatafakkaroona
(We sent Messengers) with the clear arguments (means of proof) and Heavenly Books and We have also sent down unto you the Dhikr (the Reminder, the Qur’ân) that you may make clear to men what has been sent to them, that haply they may reflect.
16/An-Nahl-45: Afaamina allatheena makaroo alssayyiati an yakhsifa Allahu bihimu alarda aw yatiyahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona
Do then those who devise evil plots feel secure that Allah will not sink them into the earth, or that the torment will not seize them from whence they do not perceive?
16/An-Nahl-46: Aw yakhuthahum fee taqallubihim fama hum bimuAAjizeena
Or that He may not seize them in their going to and fro, then they will not be able to frustrate Him?
16/An-Nahl-47: Aw yakhuthahum AAala takhawwufin fainna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun
Or that He may not catch them while they dread? Truly, Your Lord is indeed full of Kindness, Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Light of Mercy, Pitying).
16/An-Nahl-48: Awa lam yaraw ila ma khalaqa Allahu min shayin yatafayyao thilaluhu AAani alyameeni waalshshamaili sujjadan lillahi wahum dakhiroona
Do they not consider all the things (the electrons) that Allah has created? Their shadows (counter-electrons) return from the right (having a right spin) and the left (having a left spin) by depending (on the electrons), making prostration unto Allah in humility.
16/An-Nahl-49: Walillahi yasjudu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi min dabbatin waalmalaikatu wahum la yastakbiroona
And to Allah prostrate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the moving (living) creatures and the angels, and they are not proud.
16/An-Nahl-50: Yakhafoona rabbahum min fawqihim wayafAAaloona ma yumaroona
They fear their Lord above them (under the Command of whom they are), and they do what they are commanded.
16/An-Nahl-51: Waqala Allahu la tattakhithoo ilahayni ithnayni innama huwa ilahun wahidun faiyyaya fairhabooni
And Allah said: Do not take two gods, He is only one God; so fear Me (and Me alone).
16/An-Nahl-52: Walahu ma fee alssamawati waalardi walahu alddeenu wasiban afaghayra Allahi tattaqoona
And Whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His, and the Religion is His perpetually. Will you then fear any other than Allah?
16/An-Nahl-53: Wama bikum min niAAmatin famina Allahi thumma itha massakumu alddurru failayhi tajaroona
And whatever of Blessings is (bestowed) on you, it is from Allah; then, when harm touches you, unto Him do you cry for help.
16/An-Nahl-54: Thumma itha kashafa alddurra AAankum itha fareequn minkum birabbihim yushrikoona
Yet when He removes the evil (the harm) from you, behold! a party of you associate others with their Lord.
16/An-Nahl-55: Liyakfuroo bima ataynahum fatamattaAAoo fasawfa taAAlamoona
So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know.
16/An-Nahl-56: WayajAAaloona lima la yaAAlamoona naseeban mimma razaqnahum taAllahi latusalunna AAamma kuntum taftaroona
And they set apart for what they do not know a portion of what We have given them as sustenance. By Allah, you shall most certainly be questioned about that which you forged.
16/An-Nahl-57: WayajAAaloona lillahi albanati subhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona
And they ascribe daughters to Allah, Glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire.
16/An-Nahl-58: Waitha bushshira ahaduhum bialontha thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun
And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes black (dark), and he is filled with inward grief.
16/An-Nahl-59: Yatawara mina alqawmi min sooi ma bushshira bihi ayumsikuhu AAala hoonin am yadussuhu fee altturabi ala saa ma yahkumoona
He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with disgrace or bury her (alive) in the earth? Surely evil is what they judge, is it not?
16/An-Nahl-60: Lillatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati mathalu alssawi walillahi almathalu alaAAla wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
(The news) being regarded as evil is for those who do not believe in the hereafter (for those who do not wish to reach Allah while they are living) and Allah’s is the loftiest attribute; and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
16/An-Nahl-61: Walaw yuakhithu Allahu alnnasa bithulmihim ma taraka AAalayha min dabbatin walakin yuakhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman faitha jaa ajaluhum la yastakhiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona
And if Allah were to seize (to question and punish at once) men (mankind) for their wrong-doing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving (living) creature, but He respites (postpones) them till an appointed term; and when their term comes, neither can they delay nor can they advance it an hour (a moment).
16/An-Nahl-62: WayajAAaloona lillahi ma yakrahoona watasifu alsinatuhumu alkathiba anna lahumu alhusna la jarama anna lahumu alnnara waannahum mufratoona
They ascribe to Allah what they dislike (for themselves) and their tongues relate the lie that the best (the most beautiful) thing is theirs. there is no avoiding it that for them is the Fire and that they are abandoned (to it) [and that they are in extravagance].
16/An-Nahl-63: TaAllahi laqad arsalna ila omamin min qablika fazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumu alyawma walahum AAathabun aleemun
By Allah, most certainly We sent (messengers) to nations (communities) before you, but Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he will be their friend that Day and for them there is a painful torment.
16/An-Nahl-64: Wama anzalna AAalayka alkitaba illa litubayyina lahumu allathee ikhtalafoo feehi wahudan warahmatan liqawmin yuminoona
And We have not sent down the Book to you, except that you may make clear to them that in which they differ and (as) a Guidance and a Mercy for a people who believe (who became believers by wishing to reach Allah).
16/An-Nahl-65: WaAllahu anzala mina alssamai maan faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yasmaAAoona
And Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, then He revives the earth therewith after its death; most surely there is a Sign in this for a people who listen (hear)
16/An-Nahl-66: Wainna lakum fee alanAAami laAAibratan nusqeekum mimma fee butoonihi min bayni farthin wadamin labanan khalisan saighan lilshsharibeena
And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, from between the faeces (digested nutriment) and the blood, pure milk; going easily through the throat for the drinkers.
16/An-Nahl-67: Wamin thamarati alnnakheeli waalaAAnabi tattakhithoona minhu sakaran warizqan hasanan inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaAAqiloona
And from the fruits of date-palms and grapes, you obtain from them intoxication (strong drink) and a goodly provision; most surely there is a Sign in this for a people who use their intelligence.
16/An-Nahl-68: Waawha rabbuka ila alnnahli ani ittakhithee mina aljibali buyootan wamina alshshajari wamimma yaAArishoona
And your Lord revealed to the bee (saying); Take habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build(erect).
16/An-Nahl-69: Thumma kulee min kulli alththamarati faoslukee subula rabbiki thululan yakhruju min butooniha sharabun mukhtalifun alwanuhu feehi shifaon lilnnasi inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona
Then eat of all fruits, and walk (fly, wander around) in the ways of your Lord made easy, ready (for you) . There comes forth out of their bellies a fluid of varying hues, in which there is a healing for men; most surely there is a Sign in this for a people who reflect.
16/An-Nahl-70: WaAllahu khalaqakum thumma yatawaffakum waminkum man yuraddu ila arthali alAAumuri likay la yaAAlama baAAda AAilmin shayan inna Allaha AAaleemun qadeerun
And Allah has created you, then He causes you to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the vilest period of his life (from guidance into Misguidance), so that after having knowledge (after having learnt guidance ) he does not know anything (he cannot comprehend anything); surely Allah is All-Knowing, All – Powerful.
16/An-Nahl-71: WaAllahu faddala baAAdakum AAala baAAdin fee alrrizqi fama allatheena fuddiloo biraddee rizqihim AAala ma malakat aymanuhum fahum feehi sawaon afabiniAAmati Allahi yajhadoona
And Allah has made some of you excel others in the means of subsistence, so those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess ( because it is only Allah Who gives sustenance) whereas they are equal in respect of their sustenance. Do they then deny the Blessing of Allah knowingly?
16/An-Nahl-72: WaAllahu jaAAala lakum min anfusikum azwajan wajaAAala lakum min azwajikum baneena wahafadatan warazaqakum mina alttayyibati afabialbatili yuminoona wabiniAAmati Allahi hum yakfuroona
And Allah has made for you Azwâc (mates or wives) of your own kind, and has made for you, from your wives, sons and grandsons and has provided you with good (and pure) things; is it then in the falsehood that they believe while it is in the Blessing of Allah that they disbelieve?
16/An-Nahl-73: WayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi ma la yamliku lahum rizqan mina alssamawati waalardi shayan wala yastateeAAoona
And they (the associates) worship besides Allah that which does not own any sustenance for them from the heavens and the earth, nor have they any power (to do so).
16/An-Nahl-74: Fala tadriboo lillahi alamthala inna Allaha yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona
Therefore do not give likenesses to Allah; surely Allah knows and you do not know.
16/An-Nahl-75: Daraba Allahu mathalan AAabdan mamlookan la yaqdiru AAala shayin waman razaqnahu minna rizqan hasanan fahuwa yunfiqu minhu sirran wajahran hal yastawoona alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona
Allah sets forth a parable: (consider) a servant, the property of another, (who) has no power over anything, and one whom We have granted from Ourselves a goodly sustenance so he spends from it secretly and openly; are the two equal? All praise be to Allah. Nay! Most of them do not know.
16/An-Nahl-76: Wadaraba Allahu mathalan rajulayni ahaduhuma abkamu la yaqdiru AAala shayin wahuwa kallun AAala mawlahu aynama yuwajjihhu la yati bikhayrin hal yastawee huwa waman yamuru bialAAadli wahuwa AAala siratin mustaqeemin
And Allah sets forth a parable of two men: one of them is dumb, not able to do anything and he is a burden to his master; wherever he sends him, he brings no good (benefit); can he be held equal with him who enjoins what is just (justice) [the owner of the station of the Immaterial Maturity (irshad)] and he (himself) is on the Straight Path (leading to Allah)?
16/An-Nahl-77: Walillahi ghaybu alssamawati waalardi wama amru alssaAAati illa kalamhi albasari aw huwa aqrabu inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
And Allah’s is the Unseen of the heavens and the earth; and the matter of the Hour is but as the twinkling of an eye, or oven nearer; surely Allah has power over all things.
16/An-Nahl-78: WaAllahu akhrajakum min butooni ommahatikum la taAAlamoona shayan wajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waalabsara waalafidata laAAallakum tashkuroona
And Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers- you did know anything and He gave you the hearing and the sight (the faculties of seeing).
16/An-Nahl-79: Alam yaraw ila alttayri musakhkharatin fee jawwi alssamai ma yumsikuhunna illa Allahu inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yuminoona
Do they not see the birds made subservient? None withholds them but Allah; most surely there are Sings in this for a people who believe.
16/An-Nahl-80: WaAllahu jaAAala lakum min buyootikum sakanan wajaAAala lakum min juloodi alanAAami buyootan tastakhiffoonaha yawma thaAAnikum wayawma iqamatikum wamin aswafiha waawbariha waashAAariha athathan wamataAAan ila heenin
And Allah has made for you from your habitations places of rest (quietness) and He has given you tents of the skins of cattle which you find light to carry on the day of your halting ,and of their wool and their fur and their hair (He has given you) household stuff and a provision for a time.
16/An-Nahl-81: WaAllahu jaAAala lakum mimma khalaqa thilalan wajaAAala lakum mina aljibali aknanan wajaAAala lakum sarabeela taqeekumu alharra wasarabeela taqeekum basakum kathalika yutimmu niAAmatahu AAalaykum laAAallakum tuslimoona
And Allah has made for you of what He has created shades (shelters)and he has given you in the mountains places of retreat (from the wind ,the rain…), and He has given you garments to preserve you from the heat and coats of mail to preserve you in your fighting; even thus does He complete His Blessing upon you, that haply you may submit (to Allah).
16/An-Nahl-82: Fain tawallaw fainnama AAalayka albalaghu almubeenu
But if they turn away (back), then your duty is only to convey (the Message) clearly.
16/An-Nahl-83: YaAArifoona niAAmata Allahi thumma yunkiroonaha waaktharuhumu alkafiroona
They recognize the Blessing of Allah, yet they deny it, and most of them are ungrateful (disbelievers).
16/An-Nahl-84: Wayawma nabAAathu min kulli ommatin shaheedan thumma la yuthanu lillatheena kafaroo wala hum yustaAAtaboona
And on the Day when We will raise up a witness out of every nation (community), then there is no permission for those who disbelieved (to go out of Hell) nor their asking for consent (from Allah) will be accepted from them (nor are they allowed to make amends).
16/An-Nahl-85: Waitha raa allatheena thalamoo alAAathaba fala yukhaffafu AAanhum wala hum yuntharoona
And when those who did wrong (who are not allowed to depart from Hell) shall see the torment, it shall not be lightened for them, nor shall they be respited.
16/An-Nahl-86: Waitha raa allatheena ashrakoo shurakaahum qaloo rabbana haolai shurakaona allatheena kunna nadAAoo min doonika faalqaw ilayhimu alqawla innakum lakathiboona
And when those who associate (others with Allah) see their associates, they will say: Our Lord; these are our associates, (partners) on whom we called besides You. But they will throw back their word at them (saying): Most surely you are liars.
16/An-Nahl-87: Waalqaw ila Allahi yawmaithin alssalama wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona
And they shall tender submission to Allah on that Day; and what they used to forge shall depart from them.
16/An-Nahl-88: Allatheena kafaroo wasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi zidnahum AAathaban fawqa alAAathabi bima kanoo yufsidoona
(As for) those who disbelieve and hinder (men) from the Way of Allah, for them We will add torment upon torment because they made mischief.
16/An-Nahl-89: Wayawma nabAAathu fee kulli ommatin shaheedan AAalayhim min anfusihim wajina bika shaheedan AAala haolai wanazzalna AAalayka alkitaba tibyanan likulli shayin wahudan warahmatan wabushra lilmuslimeena
And on the Day When We will raise up in every nation (community) a witness against them from amongst themselves, and bring you as a witness against these. And We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) explaining clearly everything and a guidance and mercy and glad tidings for those who have submitted themselves (to Allah).
16/An-Nahl-90: Inna Allaha yamuru bialAAadli waalihsani waeetai thee alqurba wayanha AAani alfahshai waalmunkari waalbaghyi yaAAithukum laAAallakum tathakkaroona
Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (“ihsan”, kindness) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion (oppression); He admonishes you that you may deliberate (take heed).
16/An-Nahl-91: Waawfoo biAAahdi Allahi itha AAahadtum wala tanqudoo alaymana baAAda tawkeediha waqad jaAAaltumu Allaha AAalaykum kafeelan inna Allaha yaAAlamu ma tafAAaloona
And fulfil the covenant of Allah (concerning the fact that you must submit your spirit, physical body soul and free will to Allah) when you have covenanted and do not break the oaths [do not fall into Misguidance after you have caused your spirit to reach Allah and you have purified your soul (‘s heart)] after making them fast [after having attained to guidance and having purified your soul (‘s heart)] and you had indeed made Allah a Surety for you (Allah had fulfilled His Word, His suretyship by causing you to attain to guidance, by making your spirit reach Himself); surely Allah knows what you do.
16/An-Nahl-92: Wala takoonoo kaallatee naqadat ghazlaha min baAAdi quwwatin ankathan tattakhithoona aymanakum dakhalan baynakum an takoona ommatun hiya arba min ommatin innama yablookumu Allahu bihi walayubayyinanna lakum yawma alqiyamati ma kuntum feehi takhtalifoona
And be not like her who unravels her yarn, disintegrating it into pieces after she has spun it strongly (be not like the person who has fallen into Misguidance after having attained to Guidance). You make your oaths to be means of deceit between you because (one) nation is more numerous than (other) nation [relying on the fact that one nation (that regards its oaths, its covenants and its pacts as non-existent) is more numerous than (other) nation (that fulfils them). Allah only tries you by this and He will most certainly make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that about which you differed (about attaining to guidance, about making the spirit reach Allah before dying).
16/An-Nahl-93: Walaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalakum ommatan wahidatan walakin yudillu man yashao wayahdee man yashao walatusalunna AAamma kuntum taAAmaloona
And if Allah had (so) willed, He would have made you (all) one nation (community), (as all the men are in Misguidance from birth, Allah does not cause to reach Himself those who do not wish to reach Him and so) He leaves in Misguidance whom He wills and He causes to attain to Guidance whom He wills (according to the Word, the suretyship He gave); and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did.
16/An-Nahl-94: Wala tattakhithoo aymanakum dakhalan baynakum fatazilla qadamun baAAda thubootiha watathooqoo alssooa bima sadadtum AAan sabeeli Allahi walakum AAathabun AAatheemun
And do not make your oaths a means of deceit between you ,lest a foot should slip after being firmly planted and you may have to taste the evil of having hindered (men) from the Way of Allah and for you there is a great torment.
16/An-Nahl-95: Wala tashtaroo biAAahdi Allahi thamanan qaleelan innama AAinda Allahi huwa khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona
And do not sell the covenant of Allah for a small price. Surely what is with Allah is better for you, if you only knew.
16/An-Nahl-96: Ma AAindakum yanfadu wama AAinda Allahi baqin walanajziyanna allatheena sabaroo ajrahum biahsani ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
What is with you passes away and what is with Allah is enduring; and We will most certainly give to those who are patient their reward for the best of what they did .
16/An-Nahl-97: Man AAamila salihan min thakarin aw ontha wahuwa muminun falanuhyiyannahu hayatan tayyibatan walanajziyannahum ajrahum biahsani ma kanoo yaAAmaloona
Whoever does improving deed [that purifies and refines the soul (‘s heart )] whether male or female–and he (she) is a believer–We will most certainly make him live a good (and lawful) life, We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did.
16/An-Nahl-98: Faitha qarata alqurana faistaAAith biAllahi mina alshshaytani alrrajeemi
So when you recite (read)the Qur’ân, seek refuge whith Allah from Satan the stoned (accursed, outcast).
16/An-Nahl-99: Innahu laysa lahu sultanun AAala allatheena amanoo waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona
Surely he has no authority over those who believe (are âmenû, who whish to reach Allah before dying) and put their trust in their Lord.
16/An-Nahl-100: Innama sultanuhu AAala allatheena yatawallawnahu waallatheena hum bihi mushrikoona
His authority is only over those who make a friend of him [who turn to him ,to Satan and those associate (Satan) with Allah (as they do not wish to reach Allah)].
16/An-Nahl-101: Waitha baddalna ayatan makana ayatin waAllahu aAAlamu bima yunazzilu qaloo innama anta muftarin bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona
And when We change a Verse in place of (another) Verse-and Allah knows best what He sends down–they say: you are only a forger. Nay! Most of them do not know.
16/An-Nahl-102: Qul nazzalahu roohu alqudusi min rabbika bialhaqqi liyuthabbita allatheena amanoo wahudan wabushra lilmuslimeena
Say: The Holy spirit (Gabriel) has brought it (the Qur’ân) down from your Lord with the truth ,that it may make firm and strengthen those who believe (who are âmenû) and as a Guidance and glad tidings to those who have submitted (to Allah as Muslims) [for the submitters (to Allah)].
16/An-Nahl-103: Walaqad naAAlamu annahum yaqooloona innama yuAAallimuhu basharun lisanu allathee yulhidoona ilayhi aAAjamiyyun wahatha lisanun AAarabiyyun mubeenun
And certainly We know that they say: only a mortal (a human being) teaches him. The tongue of him to whom they allude is barbarous (foreign) and this is a clear Arabic tongue.
16/An-Nahl-104: Inna allatheena la yuminoona biayati Allahi la yahdeehimu Allahu walahum AAathabun aleemun
(As for) those who do not belive in the Verses (Signs) of Allah, surely Allah does not guide them (He does not cause their spirits to reach Himself) and for them there is a painful torment.
16/An-Nahl-105: Innama yaftaree alkathiba allatheena la yuminoona biayati Allahi waolaika humu alkathiboona
None forges the lie except those who disbelieve in the Verses (Signs) of Allah, and these are the liars.
16/An-Nahl-106: Man kafara biAllahi min baAAdi eemanihi illa man okriha waqalbuhu mutmainnun bialeemani walakin man sharaha bialkufri sadran faAAalayhim ghadabun mina Allahi walahum AAathabun AAatheemun
He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed (after having attained to Guidance) -excepting him who has been compelled and (while) his heart is satisfied with Faith–but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief–on these is the Wrath of Allah, and for them there is a great torment.
16/An-Nahl-107: Thalika biannahumu istahabboo alhayata alddunya AAala alakhirati waanna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alkafireena
This is because they love this world’s life more than the Hereafter and because Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
16/An-Nahl-108: Olaika allatheena tabaAAa Allahu AAala quloobihim wasamAAihim waabsarihim waolaika humu alghafiloona
these are they on whose hearts and their sight (their faculties of seeing) Allah has set a seal and these are the heedless ones.
16/An-Nahl-109: La jarama annahum fee alakhirati humu alkhasiroona
No doubt that in the Hereafter they will be the losers (those who will fall into Loss, Husrân).
16/An-Nahl-110: Thumma inna rabbaka lillatheena hajaroo min baAAdi ma futinoo thumma jahadoo wasabaroo inna rabbaka min baAAdiha laghafoorun raheemun
Then surely your Lord-for those who emigrated after they had been put to trials (after they had been persecuted) and then they struggled hard (and fought) and were patient, most surely your Lord, after that, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Light of Mercy).
16/An-Nahl-111: Yawma tatee kullu nafsin tujadilu AAan nafsiha watuwaffa kullu nafsin ma AAamilat wahum la yuthlamoona
(Remember) the day when every soul comes, contends with itself [as it sees its film of life respecting what (the degrees) it has earned and what (the degrees ) it has lost] and every soul is paid in full for what it has done and they are not wronged (Negative degrees are not written down for them unjustly).
16/An-Nahl-112: Wadaraba Allahu mathalan qaryatan kanat aminatan mutmainnatan yateeha rizquha raghadan min kulli makanin fakafarat bianAAumi Allahi faathaqaha Allahu libasa aljooAAi waalkhawfi bima kanoo yasnaAAoona
And Allah sets forth a parable of a town safe (of fear) and well-content to which its means of subsistence came in abundance from every quarter: but it became ungrateful to the Blessings of Allah. Therefore He caused it to taste the garb of famine and fear because of what they did.
16/An-Nahl-113: Walaqad jaahum rasoolun minhum fakaththaboohu faakhathahumu alAAathabu wahum thalimoona
And certainly there came to them a Messenger of their own, but they denied him, so the torment overtook them while they were wrong–doers (unjust).
16/An-Nahl-114: Fakuloo mimma razaqakumu Allahu halalan tayyiban waoshkuroo niAAmata Allahi in kuntum iyyahu taAAbudoona
So eat of the lawful and good (and clean) things which Allah has provided for you ,and give thanks for Allah’s Blessings, if it is He whom you serve.
16/An-Nahl-115: Innama harrama AAalaykumu almaytata waalddama walahma alkhinzeeri wama ohilla lighayri Allahi bihi famani idturra ghayra baghin wala AAadin fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
He has only forbidden you what dies of itself (meat of a dead animal, carrion) and blood and flesh of swine and animal which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
16/An-Nahl-116: Wala taqooloo lima tasifu alsinatukumu alkathiba hatha halalun wahatha haramun litaftaroo AAala Allahi alkathiba inna allatheena yaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba la yuflihoona
And do not utter the lie for what your tongues describe: This is lawful and this is unlawful, in order to forge a lie against Allah; surely those who forge a lie against Allah do not prosper (do not attain to the Salvation).
16/An-Nahl-117: MataAAun qaleelun walahum AAathabun aleemun
A little enjoyment (in the world’s life) and for them there is a painful torment.
16/An-Nahl-118: WaAAala allatheena hadoo harramna ma qasasna AAalayka min qablu wama thalamnahum walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona
And for those who were Jews, We prohibited what We have related to you already, and We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
16/An-Nahl-119: Thumma inna rabbaka lillatheena AAamiloo alssooa bijahalatin thumma taboo min baAAdi thalika waaslahoo inna rabbaka min baAAdiha laghafoorun raheemun
Yet surely your Lord, with respect to those who do evil in ignorance and afterwards repent (turn to Allah in repentance) and improve (purify their souls (‘s hearts)], most surely your Lord, after that, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
16/An-Nahl-120: Inna ibraheema kana ommatan qanitan lillahi haneefan walam yaku mina almushrikeena
Surely Abraham was an Ummah (a leader having all the good righteous qualities), obedient and turning to Allah, pure monotheist by disposition (hanîfâ) and he was not of the associators (polytheists).
16/An-Nahl-121: Shakiran lianAAumihi ijtabahu wahadahu ila siratin mustaqeemin
Grateful for his Blessings; He chose him and guided him to the Straight Path (leading to Allah).
16/An-Nahl-122: Waataynahu fee alddunya hasanatan wainnahu fee alakhirati lamina alssaliheena
And We gave him good (possitive degrees of which he was deserving) and in the Hereafter he shall be of the improved ones (sâlihîn).
16/An-Nahl-123: Thumma awhayna ilayka ani ittabiAA millata ibraheema haneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena
Then We revealed to you: Follow (depend on) the Religion of Abraham, (as) pure monotheist by disposition [taking as fondations the unity (vahdet), the unification (tevhid) and the submission (teslim)] and he was not of the associators (polytheists).
16/An-Nahl-124: Innama juAAila alssabtu AAala allatheena ikhtalafoo feehi wainna rabbaka layahkumu baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona
The Sabbath (Saturday, the prohibition of fishing) was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that about which they differed.
16/An-Nahl-125: OdAAu ila sabeeli rabbika bialhikmati waalmawAAithati alhasanati wajadilhum biallatee hiya ahsanu inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu biman dalla AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeena
Call to the Way of your Lord [to the Way that makes (men) reach Allah, to the Straight Path (leading to Allah)] with the wisdom and the goodly (kindly) exhortation and argue with them in the best manner; surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His Way (His Straight Path) (those who fall into Misguidance) and He knows best those who attain to Guidance.
16/An-Nahl-126: Wain AAaqabtum faAAaqiboo bimithli ma AAooqibtum bihi walain sabartum lahuwa khayrun lilssabireena
And if you take your turn, then retaliate with the like of that with which you were afflicted; but if you endure patiently, this is indeed better for the patient ones.
16/An-Nahl-127: Waisbir wama sabruka illa biAllahi wala tahzan AAalayhim wala taku fee dayqin mimma yamkuroona
Endure patiently and your patience is only with Allah, and do not grieve for them ,and be not distressed because of what they plot.
16/An-Nahl-128: Inna Allaha maAAa allatheena ittaqaw waallatheena hum muhsinoona
Surely Allah is with those who have piety and those (who) are good-doers (Muhsinîn).
