23/Al-Muminun-1: Qad aflaha almuminoona
Successful indeed are the believers [the believers have indeed reached the Salvation (the Bliss in the Hereafter and happiness in this worldly life)].
23/Al-Muminun-2: Allatheena hum fee salatihim khashiAAoona
Who are humble (who feel awe) in their prayers
23/Al-Muminun-3: Waallatheena hum AAani allaghwi muAAridoona
And who keep aloof from what is vain (Al-Laghw=dirty, false, evil, vain talk, falsehood and all that Allah has forbidden).
23/Al-Muminun-4: Waallatheena hum lilzzakati faAAiloona
And who are givers of poor –rate (Az-Zakat)
23/Al-Muminun-5: Waallatheena hum lifuroojihim hafithoona
And who guard their chastity (i.e. their private parts from illegal sexual acts).
23/Al-Muminun-6: Illa AAala azwajihim aw ma malakat aymanuhum fainnahum ghayru maloomeena
Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess (their female slaves), for they surely are not blamable.
23/Al-Muminun-7: Famani ibtagha waraa thalika faolaika humu alAAadoona
But who ever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits;
23/Al-Muminun-8: Waallatheena hum liamanatihim waAAahdihim raAAoona
And those who are keepers of their trusts and their pacts (pledges).
23/Al-Muminun-9: Waallatheena hum AAala salawatihim yuhafithoona
And those who keep a guard on their prayers.
23/Al-Muminun-10: Olaika humu alwarithoona
These are they who are the heirs (inheritors).
23/Al-Muminun-11: Allatheena yarithoona alfirdawsa hum feeha khalidoona
Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise), where they shall abide (forever).
23/Al-Muminun-12: Walaqad khalaqna alinsana min sulalatin min teenin
And certainly We created man out of an extract of clay (organic and inorganic wet earth).
23/Al-Muminun-13: Thumma jaAAalnahu nutfatan fee qararin makeenin
Then We made him a small seed [a drop (of seed), Nutfah] in a firm resting-place [in a safe lodging (womb of the mother)].
23/Al-Muminun-14: Thumma khalaqna alnnutfata AAalaqatan fakhalaqna alAAalaqata mudghatan fakhalaqna almudghata AAithaman fakasawna alAAithama lahman thumma anshanahu khalqan akhara fatabaraka Allahu ahsanu alkhaliqeena
Then We made the drop (of seed) into an “Alaqah” (what is hung on to the wall of the womb from one point), then We made the “Alaqah” into a little lump of flesh (a chewy flesh), then We made out of that chewy flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh and then We caused it to build as an other creation; so Blessed be Allah, the Best of the creators!
23/Al-Muminun-15: Thumma innakum baAAda thalika lamayyitoona
Then after that you will most surely die.
23/Al-Muminun-16: Thumma innakum yawma alqiyamati tubAAathoona
Then surely on the Day of Resurrection you shall be raised (resurrected).
23/Al-Muminun-17: Walaqad khalaqna fawqakum sabAAa taraiqa wama kunna AAani alkhalqi ghafileena
And certainly We have created above you seven roads (that bind seven heavens to each other); and never are We heedless of Creation.
23/Al-Muminun-18: Waanzalna mina alssamai maan biqadarin faaskannahu fee alardi wainna AAala thahabin bihi laqadiroona
And We send down water (rain) from the sky according to due measure (with a predestined amount), then We cause it to settle (We give it lodging) in the earth, and most surely We are Able to carry (take) it away.
23/Al-Muminun-19: Faanshana lakum bihi jannatin min nakheelin waaAAnabin lakum feeha fawakihu katheeratun waminha takuloona
Then We cause to grow for you thereby gardens of date-palms and grapes; for you there are many fruits in them and from them do you eat;
23/Al-Muminun-20: Washajaratan takhruju min toori saynaa tanbutu bialdduhni wasibghin lilakileena
And a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for the eaters.
23/Al-Muminun-21: Wainna lakum fee alanAAami laAAibratan nusqeekum mimma fee butooniha walakum feeha manafiAAu katheeratun waminha takuloona
And most surely there is a lesson (‘Ibra) for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and there are in them numerous (other) benefits for you and of them you eat.
23/Al-Muminun-22: WaAAalayha waAAala alfulki tuhmaloona
And on them and on the ships you are borne (carried)
23/Al-Muminun-23: Walaqad arsalna noohan ila qawmihi faqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona
And certainly We sent Noah to his people, and he said: O my people! Serve (become servants to) Allah, you have no god other than Him; will you not then be the owners of piety? (Will you not then wish to reach Allah before dying?)
23/Al-Muminun-24: Faqala almalao allatheena kafaroo min qawmihi ma hatha illa basharun mithlukum yureedu an yatafaddala AAalaykum walaw shaa Allahu laanzala malaikatan ma samiAAna bihatha fee abaina alawwaleena
And the chiefs of those who disbelieved from among his people said: He is nothing but a mortal (human being) like yourselves. He desires that he may have superiority over you, and if Allah had willed, He could certainly have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our fathers of old.
23/Al-Muminun-25: In huwa illa rajulun bihi jinnatun fatarabbasoo bihi hatta heenin
He is only a man in whom is a madness, so watch him (take him under supervision) for a time.
23/Al-Muminun-26: Qala rabbi onsurnee bima kaththabooni
He said: My Lord! Help me against their calling me a liar![Help me because they belie(deny) me].
23/Al-Muminun-27: Faawhayna ilayhi ani isnaAAi alfulka biaAAyunina wawahyina faitha jaa amruna wafara alttannooru faosluk feeha min kullin zawjayni ithnayni waahlaka illa man sabaqa AAalayhi alqawlu minhum wala tukhatibnee fee allatheena thalamoo innahum mughraqoona
So We revealed to him: Make the Ark before Our Eyes (under Our Control) and (according to) Our Revelation; then when Our Command comes and the oven boils (faret tennuru) take into it of every kind a pair (male and female) and your family (followers), except those among them against whom the Word has gone forth, and do not address Me in favor of those who have done wrong. Surely they are to be drowned (They are already decided to be drowned).
23/Al-Muminun-28: Faitha istawayta anta waman maAAaka AAala alfulki faquli alhamdu lillahi allathee najjana mina alqawmi alththalimeena
And when you are firmly seated, you and those with you, in the Ark, say: All praise is due to Allah who delivered us from the people who are wrong–doers (oppressors, polytheists).
23/Al-Muminun-29: Waqul rabbi anzilnee munzalan mubarakan waanta khayru almunzileena
And say: My Lord! Cause me to disembark a blessed alighting, and You are the Best to cause to alight.
23/Al-Muminun-30: Inna fee thalika laayatin wain kunna lamubtaleena
Most surely there are Signs in this, and most surely We are ever trying (men).
23/Al-Muminun-31: Thumma anshana min baAAdihim qarnan akhareena
Then We raised up (brought forth) after them another generation.
23/Al-Muminun-32: Faarsalna feehim rasoolan minhum ani oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona
So We sent among them a Messenger from among them, (saying): Serve (become servants to) Allah, you have no god other than Him; will you not then have piety (will you not then wish to reach Allah before dying)?
23/Al-Muminun-33: Waqala almalao min qawmihi allatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biliqai alakhirati waatrafnahum fee alhayati alddunya ma hatha illa basharun mithlukum yakulu mimma takuloona minhu wayashrabu mimma tashraboona
And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the Hereafter (the Meeting with Allah before death) a lie, and whom We caused to revel (whom We had given plenty to enjoy) in this world’s life, said: This is not but a mortal (a human being) like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink.
23/Al-Muminun-34: Walain ataAAtum basharan mithlakum innakum ithan lakhasiroona
And if you obey a mortal like yourselves, then most surely you will be losers [… you will be those who have fallen into Loss (Husran)].
23/Al-Muminun-35: AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittum wakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakum mukhrajoona
What! does he threaten (promise) you that when you are dead and become dust and bones, you shall then be brought forth?
23/Al-Muminun-36: Hayhata hayhata lima tooAAadoona
Far, very far is that which you are promised (threatened with)!
23/Al-Muminun-37: In hiya illa hayatuna alddunya namootu wanahya wama nahnu bimabAAootheena
It (that life) is not but our life of this world! We die and we live! And we shall not be raised again (resurrected).
23/Al-Muminun-38: In huwa illa rajulun iftara AAala Allahi kathiban wama nahnu lahu bimumineena
He (that Messenger) is only a man who has forged a lie against Allah, and we are not going to believe in him.
23/Al-Muminun-39: Qala rabbi onsurnee bima kaththabooni
He (the Messenger) said: My Lord! Help me because they call me a liar.
23/Al-Muminun-40: Qala AAamma qaleelin layusbihunna nadimeena
In a little while they will most certainly be regretful (penitent).
23/Al-Muminun-41: Faakhathathumu alssayhatu bialhaqqi fajaAAalnahum ghuthaan fabuAAdan lilqawmi alththalimeena
Then the Clamor (the Terrible soundwave, As–Saihah) overtook them rightfully, and We made them as rubbish (carried away by the torrent), so away with the people who are wrong–doers!
23/Al-Muminun-42: Thumma anshana min baAAdihim quroonan akhareena
Then, after them, We brought forth (raised) other generations.
23/Al-Muminun-43: Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yastakhiroona
No nation can advance their term, nor can they delay it.
23/Al-Muminun-44: Thumma arsalna rusulana tatra kulla ma jaa ommatan rasooluha kaththaboohu faatbaAAna baAAdahum baAAdan wajaAAalnahum ahadeetha fabuAAdan liqawmin la yuminoona
Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Whenever its Messenger came to a nation (community) they denied him; then We made some of them follow others (We destroyed them) and We made them stories; so away with a people who do not believe.
23/Al-Muminun-45: Thumma arsalna moosa waakhahu haroona biayatina wasultanin mubeenin
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our Signs (miracles), and a clear authority (the Torah).
23/Al-Muminun-46: Ila firAAawna wamalaihi faistakbaroo wakanoo qawman AAaleena
(We sent) (Moses and Aaron) to Pharaoh and his chiefs (notables), but they behaved haughtily and they were an insolent people.
23/Al-Muminun-47: Faqaloo anuminu libasharayni mithlina waqawmuhuma lana AAabidoona
And they said: What! Shall we believe in two mortals like ourselves, whereas their people are servants (slaves) to us?
23/Al-Muminun-48: Fakaththaboohuma fakanoo mina almuhlakeena
So they rejected (belied) them and became of those who were destroyed.
23/Al-Muminun-49: Walaqad atayna moosa alkitaba laAAallahum yahtadoona
And certainly We gave Moses the Book that they may be guided (they may attain Guidance).
23/Al-Muminun-50: WajaAAalna ibna maryama waommahu ayatan waawaynahuma ila rabwatin thati qararin wamaAAeenin
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a Sign and We gave them a shelter on a lofty ground having meadows and springs.
23/Al-Muminun-51: Ya ayyuha alrrusulu kuloo mina alttayyibati waiAAmaloo salihan innee bima taAAmaloona AAaleemun
O Messengers! Eat of the good (and clean, lawful) things and do improving deeds (that purify the souls’ hearts); surely I know what you know.
23/Al-Muminun-52: Wainna hathihi ommatukum ommatan wahidatan waana rabbukum faittaqooni
And surely this nation (community) of yours is a single Nation, and I am your Lord; so have piety towards Me (wish to reach Me before dying)
23/Al-Muminun-53: FataqattaAAoo amrahum baynahum zuburan kullu hizbin bima ladayhim farihoona
But they cut off their affairs (the commands of the Religion) among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which they accepted).
23/Al-Muminun-54: Fatharhum fee ghamratihim hatta heenin
Therefore leave them in their Misguidance till a time.
23/Al-Muminun-55: Ayahsaboona annama numidduhum bihi min malin wabaneena
Do they reckon that We support them with wealth and children?
23/Al-Muminun-56: NusariAAu lahum fee alkhayrati bal la yashAAuroona
(Do they reckon that) We hasten to them with good things? Nay, they do not perceive.
23/Al-Muminun-57: Inna allatheena hum min khashyati rabbihim mushfiqoona
Surely those are they who feel the fear of their Lord, being in awe (of Him).
23/Al-Muminun-58: Waallatheena hum biayati rabbihim yuminoona
And those are they who believe in the Verses (Signs) of their Lord.
23/Al-Muminun-59: Waallatheena hum birabbihim la yushrikoona
And those are they who do not associate (anything) with their Lord.
23/Al-Muminun-60: Waallatheena yutoona ma ataw waquloobuhum wajilatun annahum ila rabbihim rajiAAoona
And those who give what they give and their hearts tremble because they are returning (reaching) to their Lord.
23/Al-Muminun-61: Olaika yusariAAoona fee alkhayrati wahum laha sabiqoona
Those race (hasten to) for the good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them.
23/Al-Muminun-62: Wala nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha waladayna kitabun yantiqu bialhaqqi wahum la yuthlamoona
And We do not lay on any soul a burden except according to its capacity (to the extent of its ability) and with Us is a Book (Record) which speaks the truth and they shall not be wronged.
23/Al-Muminun-63: Bal quloobuhum fee ghamratin min hatha walahum aAAmalun min dooni thalika hum laha AAamiloona
Nay, their hearts are in over- whelming ignorance (heedlessness, Misguidance) of his and they have besides this other deeds which they do.
23/Al-Muminun-64: Hatta itha akhathna mutrafeehim bialAAathabi itha hum yajaroona
Until, when We seize those who lead a luxury life with the torment behold! they make humble invocation with a loud voice (they cry for succor).
23/Al-Muminun-65: La tajaroo alyawma innakum minna la tunsaroona
Do not cry for succor this day; surely you shall not be helped by Us.
23/Al-Muminun-66: Qad kanat ayatee tutla AAalaykum fakuntum AAala aAAqabikum tankisoona
My Verses were recited (read and explained) to you, but on your heels you recoiled.
23/Al-Muminun-67: Mustakbireena bihi samiran tahjuroona
Becoming haughty against it (My Verses), talking by night (about My Verses), you used to rave.
23/Al-Muminun-68: Afalam yaddabbaroo alqawla am jaahum ma lam yati abaahumu alawwaleena
Have they not pondered over the Word (Have they not grasped its meaning) or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old?
23/Al-Muminun-69: Am lam yaAArifoo rasoolahum fahum lahu munkiroona
Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger, so they deny him?
23/Al-Muminun-70: Am yaqooloona bihi jinnatun bal jaahum bialhaqqi waaktharuhum lilhaqqi karihoona
Or do they say: There is a madness in him? Nay! He come to them with the truth and most of them are haters of truth (are averse from the truth).
23/Al-Muminun-71: Walawi ittabaAAa alhaqqu ahwaahum lafasadati alssamawatu waalardu waman feehinna bal ataynahum bithikrihim fahum AAan thikrihim muAAridoona
and if the Truth had followed (depended on) their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have been corrupted. Nay! We have brought them their Reminder (dhikr, the Qur’an, Remembrance) but from their Reminder (dhikr) they turn aside.
23/Al-Muminun-72: Am tasaluhum kharjan fakharaju rabbika khayrun wahuwa khayru alrraziqeena
Or do you ask of them a tribute? Surely your Lord’s tribute (Wage, Reward) is better, for He is the Best of those who give sustenance (the Best of the providers).
23/Al-Muminun-73: Wainnaka latadAAoohum ila siratin mustaqeemin
And most surely you call them to The Path directed (towards Allah).
23/Al-Muminun-74: Wainna allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati AAani alssirati lanakiboona
And most surely those who do not believe in the Hereafter (in reaching Allah while they are living and the Day of Resurrection) indeed are deviating from the Way (from The Path directed towards Allah) [they are those who are in Misguidance].
23/Al-Muminun-75: Walaw rahimnahum wakashafna ma bihim min durrin lalajjoo fee tughyanihim yaAAmahoona
And if We had mercy on them and removed that which is on them of the harm, still they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
23/Al-Muminun-76: Walaqad akhathnahum bialAAathabi fama istakanoo lirabbihim wama yatadarraAAoona
And already We overtook (seized) them with the torment (punishment), but they were not submissive to their Lord and they did not pray earnestly.
23/Al-Muminun-77: Hatta itha fatahna AAalayhim baban tha AAathabin shadeedin itha hum feehi mublisoona
Until, when We open upon them a gate of severe torment (punishment), behold! They are in despair at it.
23/Al-Muminun-78: Wahuwa allathee anshaa lakumu alssamAAa waalabsara waalafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroona
It is He Who has originated for you (the senses of) hearing, sight and hearts. Little thanks you give!
23/Al-Muminun-79: Wahuwa allathee tharaakum fee alardi wailayhi tuhsharoona
And it is He Who spread you (all) through the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered.
23/Al-Muminun-80: Wahuwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli waalnnahari afala taAAqiloona
And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not comprehend?
23/Al-Muminun-81: Bal qaloo mithla ma qala alawwaloona
Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said.
23/Al-Muminun-82: Qaloo aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamabAAoothoona
They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised again?
23/Al-Muminun-83: Laqad wuAAidna nahnu waabaona hatha min qablu in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleena
Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; surely this is merely the tales (legends) of the ancients (of those of old).
23/Al-Muminun-84: Qul limani alardu waman feeha in kuntum taAAlamoona
Say; whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know?
23/Al-Muminun-85: Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afala tathakkaroona
They will say: Allah’s. Say: Will you then not deliberate (remember)?
23/Al-Muminun-86: Qul man rabbu alssamawati alssabAAi warabbu alAAarshi alAAatheemi
Say: Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens and (the) Lord of the great Throne?
23/Al-Muminun-87: Sayaqooloona lillahi qul afala tattaqoona
They will say: (This is) Allah’s. Say: Will you not then have piety (takwa)?
23/Al-Muminun-88: Qul man biyadihi malakootu kulli shayin wahuwa yujeeru wala yujaru AAalayhi in kuntum taAAlamoona
Say: Who is it in Whose Hand is the Sovereignty of all things and Who gives succor (protects), but against Him Succor is not given (Who is not in need of being protected), if you do but know?
23/Al-Muminun-89: Sayaqooloona lillahi qul faanna tusharoona
They will say: (This is) Allah’s. Say: How then are you bewitched (deceived, deluded)?
23/Al-Muminun-90: Bal ataynahum bialhaqqi wainnahum lakathiboona
Nay! We have brought the truth, and most surely they are liars.
23/Al-Muminun-91: Ma ittakhatha Allahu min waladin wama kana maAAahu min ilahin ithan lathahaba kullu ilahin bima khalaqa walaAAala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin subhana Allahi AAamma yasifoona
Never did Allah take (to Himself) a son and never is there with Him any (other) god, otherwise would each god have certainly taken away what he created and some of them would raise themselves above others; glory be to Allah above what they describe (of Him).
23/Al-Muminun-92: AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fataAAala AAamma yushrikoona
(He is the) Knower of the Unseen and the seen, so may He be Exalted above what they associate (with Him).
23/Al-Muminun-93: Qul rabbi imma turiyannee ma yooAAadoona
Say: My Lord! If you should make me see what they are threatened with:
23/Al-Muminun-94: Rabbi fala tajAAalnee fee alqawmi alththalimeena
My Lord! Do not put me amongst the people who are wrongdoers.
23/Al-Muminun-95: Wainna AAala an nuriyaka ma naAAiduhum laqadiroona
And most surely We are Well Able to make you see what We have promised them (what We threaten ed them with).
23/Al-Muminun-96: IdfaAA biallatee hiya ahsanu alssayyiata nahnu aAAlamu bima yasifoona
Repel the evil with what is best; We know best what they describe.
23/Al-Muminun-97: Waqul rabbi aAAoothu bika min hamazati alshshayateeni
And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in you from the promptings of the satans.
23/Al-Muminun-98: WaaAAoothu bika rabbi an yahdurooni
And I seek refuge in you, my Lord, lest they should be present with me.
23/Al-Muminun-99: Hatta itha jaa ahadahumu almawtu qala rabbi irjiAAooni
Finally, when death comes unto one of them, he says: My Lord, send me back.
23/Al-Muminun-100: LaAAallee aAAmalu salihan feema taraktu kalla innaha kalimatun huwa qailuha wamin waraihim barzakhun ila yawmi yubAAathoona
That I may do improving deeds (that purify the soul’s heart) in that, which I have left, By no means! It is a (mere) word that he speaks; and behind them there is a barrier until the Day they will be raised. (resurrected).
23/Al-Muminun-101: Faitha nufikha fee alssoori fala ansaba baynahum yawmaithin wala yatasaaloona
So when the Trumpet is blown (on the Day of Permission), there shall be no ties of relationship (lineage), nor shall they ask of (after) each other.
23/Al-Muminun-102: Faman thaqulat mawazeenuhu faolaika humu almuflihoona
Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, they are successuf (these are those who have attained to the Salvation).
23/Al-Muminun-103: Waman khaffat mawazeenuhu faolaika allatheena khasiroo anfusahum fee jahannama khalidoona
And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their souls (their own selves), in Hell will they abide (forever).
23/Al-Muminun-104: Talfahu wujoohahumu alnnaru wahum feeha kalihoona
The Fire shall scorch their faces and they are sullen therein [their faces become tense (of affliction)].
23/Al-Muminun-105: Alam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum fakuntum biha tukaththiboona
Were not My Verses recited (read and explained) to you, and then you used to deny (belie) them?
23/Al-Muminun-106: Qaloo rabbana ghalabat AAalayna shiqwatuna wakunna qawman dalleena
They shall say: Our Lord! Our adversity (our being cut off from the Truth) overcame us and we were a people who were in Misguidance.
23/Al-Muminun-107: Rabbana akhrijna minha fain AAudna fainna thalimoona
Our Lord! Take us out of it (Hell); then if we return (to evil), surely we shall be “zalimûn” (wrong-doers, unjust, polytheists…).
23/Al-Muminun-108: Qala ikhsaoo feeha wala tukallimooni
He (Allah) shall say (He said): go away into it and do not speak to Me!
23/Al-Muminun-109: Innahu kana fareequn min AAibadee yaqooloona rabbana amanna faighfir lana wairhamna waanta khayru alrrahimeena
Surely there was a party of my servants who say. Our Lord! We believed (We wished to reach you before dying) so forgive us and have mercy on us (Manifest You with Your Name of Most Merciful upon us) and you are the Best of the most merciful.
23/Al-Muminun-110: Faittakhathtumoohum sikhriyyan hatta ansawkum thikree wakuntum minhum tadhakoona
But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance (dhikr) and you used to laugh at them.
23/Al-Muminun-111: Innee jazaytuhumu alyawma bima sabaroo annahum humu alfaizoona
Surely I have rewarded them this Day, because they were patient, that they are the achievers (they have attained to the Salvation).
23/Al-Muminun-112: Qala kam labithtum fee alardi AAadada sineena
He will say (He said: Allah always uses the simple past tense concerning what happens on the Day of Resurrection and the Hereafter because all that which happens in them has been already known by Him): What number of years did you stay on earth?
23/Al-Muminun-113: Qaloo labithna yawman aw baAAda yawmin faisali alAAaddeena
They will say: We stayed a day or a part of a day. Ask of those who keep account (Ask those who count them).
23/Al-Muminun-114: Qala in labithtum illa qaleelan law annakum kuntum taAAlamoona
He (Allah) will say: You stayed but a little, if you had only known (it)!
23/Al-Muminun-115: Afahasibtum annama khalaqnakum AAabathan waannakum ilayna la turjaAAoona
What! Did you then reckon that We had created you in vain (without any purpose) and that you shall not be returned to Us?
23/Al-Muminun-116: FataAAala Allahu almaliku alhaqqu la ilaha illa huwa rabbu alAAarshi alkareemi

23/Al-Muminun-118: Waqul rabbi ighfir wairham waanta khayru alrrahimeena
