62/Al-Jumu'a-1: Yusabbihu lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi almaliki alquddoosi alAAazeezi alhakeemi
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth glorifies Allah, the King, the Holy (Pure), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
62/Al-Jumu'a-2: Huwa allathee baAAatha fee alommiyyeena rasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin
He it is Who raised (sent, brought to life, charged with a duty) among the unlettered (people without any Book) a Messenger of their own (from among themselves) who recites (reads and explains) to them His Verses (Signs) and purifies them (their souls’ hearts), and teaches them the Book (the Noble Qur’ân) and the Wisdom; and verily, they had been before (wishing to reach Allah while they are alive) in manifest Misguidance.
62/Al-Jumu'a-3: Waakhareena minhum lamma yalhaqoo bihim wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
And (He has sent him also to) others from among them who have not yet joined them; And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
62/Al-Jumu'a-4: Thalika fadlu Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
This is Allah’s Grace (Light of Virtue); He grants it to whom He wills, and Allah is the Owner of Mighty Grace (Light of Virtue).
62/Al-Jumu'a-5: Mathalu allatheena hummiloo alttawrata thumma lam yahmilooha kamathali alhimari yahmilu asfaran bisa mathalu alqawmi allatheena kaththaboo biayati Allahi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
The likeness of those who were charged with the Torah (i.e. to obey its commandments and to practise its laws), but who subsequently did not carry it (who did not apply it) is as the likeness of a monkey which bears (huge burdens of) books (but understands nothing from them), evil is the likeness of the people who deny (belie, reject) the Verses (Signs) of Allah; and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people (folk).
62/Al-Jumu'a-6: Qul ya ayyuha allatheena hadoo in zaAAamtum annakum awliyao lillahi min dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena
Say: O you who are Jews, if you pretend that you are friends of Allah, apart from (all other) mankind, then wish for death, if you are truthful.
62/Al-Jumu'a-7: Wala yatamannawnahu abadan bima qaddamat aydeehim waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena
And they will never wish for it because of what their hands have sent before; and Allah knows best the wrong-doers.
62/Al-Jumu'a-8: Qul inna almawta allathee tafirroona minhu fainnahu mulaqeekum thumma turaddoona ila AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona
Say: (As for) the death from which you flee, that will surely meet you, then you shall be returned to the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, and He will inform you of that which you did.
62/Al-Jumu'a-9: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha noodiya lilssalati min yawmi aljumuAAati faisAAaw ila thikri Allahi watharoo albayAAa thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona
O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before dying)! When the call is made for the prayer on Friday (of congregation), then hasten to the remembrance (dhikr) of Allah, and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you did but know!
62/Al-Jumu'a-10: Faitha qudiyati alssalatu faintashiroo fee alardi waibtaghoo min fadli Allahi waothkuroo Allaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona
But when the prayer is ended, then disperse abroad in the land and seek of Allah’s Grace (Bounty), and remember Allah much (repeat the Name of Allah as Al-lah, Al-lah during more than the half of the day), that you may be successful (that you may attain thus the Salvation).
62/Al-Jumu'a-11: Waitha raaw tijaratan aw lahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qaiman qul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijarati waAllahu khayru alrraziqeena
And when they see marchandise of amusement, they disperse headlong (break away) to it, and leave you standing. Say: What is with Allah is better than any amusement (sport) and (better) than merchandise, and Allah is the Best of sustainers (providers).
