84/Al-Inshiqaq-1: Itha alssamao inshaqqat
When the heaven is split (bursts) asunder.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-2: Waathinat lirabbiha wahuqqat
And it listens to (obeys) its Lord and it is created so as to be worthy of it (and this must be realized).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-3: Waitha alardu muddat
And when the earth is stretched forth (spread out and became quite level).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-4: Waalqat ma feeha watakhallat
And it cast forth (out) what is in it and became empty.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-5: Waathinat lirabbiha wahuqqat
And it listens to (obeys) its Lord and it is created so as to be worthy of it (and this must be realized).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-6: Ya ayyuha alinsanu innaka kadihun ila rabbika kadhan famulaqeehi
O man! Surely you are toiling towards your Lord, a hard toiling, in the end meet Him [O man! You struggle (with your soul)(to attain) to your Lord, a hard struggling, in the end, you meet Him (You make your spirit reach Him)].
84/Al-Inshiqaq-7: Faama man ootiya kitabahu biyameenihi
Then as to him who is given his book (his life film) in his right hand,
84/Al-Inshiqaq-8: Fasawfa yuhasabu hisaban yaseeran
He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning,
84/Al-Inshiqaq-9: Wayanqalibu ila ahlihi masrooran
And he shall go back to his family (people) joyfull.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-10: Waamma man ootiya kitabahu waraa thahrihi
And as to him who is given his book (of deeds, his life film) from behind his back.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-11: Fasawfa yadAAoo thubooran
He shall call for perdition (destruction).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-12: Wayasla saAAeeran
And he shall enter a blazing Fire (and he will burn in the blazing Fire).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-13: Innahu kana fee ahlihi masrooran
Verily, he was (in the world) among his people in joy (joyfull)!
84/Al-Inshiqaq-14: Innahu thanna an lan yahoora
Surely he thought that he would never return (to Allah).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-15: Bala inna rabbahu kana bihi baseeran
Yes! Surely his Lord does ever see him.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-16: Fala oqsimu bialshshafaqi
Nay (It is not so)! I swear by the sunset redness.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-17: Waallayli wama wasaqa
And the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness (it brings home),
84/Al-Inshiqaq-18: Waalqamari itha ittasaqa
And the moon when it grows full (when its light is completed, when it is at the full, when it becomes full moon).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-19: Latarkabunna tabaqan AAan tabaqin
Surely you will pass (with a vehicle) from one layer to (another) layer.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-20: Fama lahum la yuminoona
So what is the matter with them that they do not believe,
84/Al-Inshiqaq-21: Waitha quria AAalayhimu alquranu la yasjudoona
And when the Qur’ân is recited (read) to them they do not fall prostrate (make obeisance)?
84/Al-Inshiqaq-22: Bali allatheena kafaroo yukaththiboona
Nay! those who disbelieve belie (deny).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-23: WaAllahu aAAlamu bima yooAAoona
And Allah knows best what they hide (gather).
84/Al-Inshiqaq-24: Fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin
So announce to them a painful torment.
84/Al-Inshiqaq-25: Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin
Except those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive) and do improving deeds (that purify the souls’ hearts); for them is a reward that shall never be cut off.
