82/Al-Infitar-1: Itha alssamao infatarat
When the heaven is cleft asunder.
82/Al-Infitar-2: Waitha alkawakibu intatharat
And when the planets become dispersed.
82/Al-Infitar-3: Waitha albiharu fujjirat
And when the seas are burst (poured) forth (And when the seas swell up and get mixed up with one another).
82/Al-Infitar-4: Waitha alqubooru buAAthirat
And when the graves are turned upside down(and bring out their contents).
82/Al-Infitar-5: AAalimat nafsun ma qaddamat waakhkharat
Every soul shall know what it has sent forward ( what it has done).
82/Al-Infitar-6: Ya ayyuha alinsanu ma gharraka birabbika alkareemi
O man! What has beguiled you (made you conceited) from your Lord, the Most Generous?
82/Al-Infitar-7: Allathee khalaqaka fasawwaka faAAadalaka
Who created you, then fashioned you perfectly, then proportioned you (gave you due proportion, made you balanced, healthy).
82/Al-Infitar-8: Fee ayyi sooratin ma shaa rakkabaka
in whatever form He willed, he constituted (compounded) you (He gave a different form to each man by putting together the different genetic codes).
82/Al-Infitar-9: Kalla bal tukaththiboona bialddeeni
Nay! But you belie (deny) the Day of Recompense (of the Religion).
82/Al-Infitar-10: Wainna AAalaykum lahafitheena
and most surely there are keepers (angels in charge of you) over you.
82/Al-Infitar-11: Kiraman katibeena
(As) Honorable recorders (Scribes).
82/Al-Infitar-12: YaAAlamoona ma tafAAaloona
They know what you do.
82/Al-Infitar-13: Inna alabrara lafee naAAeemin
Most surely the righteous (Al-Abrâr, those who are worthy of Paradise) are in blessings (“Naîm”, Delight).
82/Al-Infitar-14: Wainna alfujjara lafee jaheemin
And most surely the wicked (Al- Fujjâr) will be in the blazing Fire.
82/Al-Infitar-15: Yaslawnaha yawma alddeeni
They shall enter it (burn in it ,prop themselves against it) on the Day of Recompense (of the Religion).
82/Al-Infitar-16: Wama hum AAanha bighaibeena
And they shall by no means be absent from it (from the blazing Fire, they will not be burnt up).
82/Al-Infitar-17: Wama adraka ma yawmu alddeeni
And what will make you realize what the Day of Recompense (of Judgment, of the Religion) is?
82/Al-Infitar-18: Thumma ma adraka ma yawmu alddeeni
Again, what will make you realize what the Day of Recompense (of Judgment, of the Religion) is?
82/Al-Infitar-19: Yawma la tamliku nafsun linafsin shayan waalamru yawmaithin lillahi
A Day on which no soul has power (to do anything) at all for any other, and the Command on that Day shall be entirely Allah’s.
