Sura List » Al-i'Imran

3/Al-i'Imran-1: Aliflammeem
Alif, Lâm, Mîm. (These disjointed letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’ân, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their (real) meanings).

3/Al-i'Imran-2: Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu
Allah! (there is) no god but He, the Everliving, the Self-Subsisting by Whom all things subsist.

3/Al-i'Imran-3: Nazzala AAalayka alkitaba bialhaqqi musaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi waanzala alttawrata waalinjeela
It is He Who sent down the Book (verse by verse) (the Qur’ân) to you with truth, confirming what came before it. And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel.

3/Al-i'Imran-4: Min qablu hudan lilnnasi waanzala alfurqana inna allatheena kafaroo biayati Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin
Aforetime, as a Guidance for the men (He sent down the Torah and the Gospel) and (then) He sent down the Distinction (the Furqân, the criterion of judgement between the right and the wrong, i.e. this Qur’ân) Truly, those who disbelieve in the Verses (Signs) of Allah, for them there severe torment; and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of Retribution (Requiting, Revenge).

3/Al-i'Imran-5: Inna Allaha la yakhfa AAalayhi shayon fee alardi wala fee alssamai
Truly, nothing is hidden from Allah in the earth and in the heaven.

3/Al-i'Imran-6: Huwa allathee yusawwirukum fee alarhami kayfa yashao la ilaha illa huwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god but He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

3/Al-i'Imran-7: Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitaba minhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommu alkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faamma allatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona ma tashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati waibtighaa taweelihi wama yaAAlamu taweelahu illa Allahu waalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amanna bihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaru illa oloo alalbabi
He it is Who has sent down to you the Book (this Qur’ân). Some of its Verses are decisive (firm, containing decrees, whose meanings are plain), they are the Mother (Basis) of the Book and others allegorical (open to interpretations); then as for those in whose hearts there is a swerving (an incline to meaninglessness) pursue the allegorical seeking dissension (Al-Fitnah, disorder, confusion, tumult...) and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation, but none knows its Interpretation (its hidden meanings) except Allah; and those who are firmly grounded (rooted) in knowledge say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind (deliberate) except Uli’l Elbâb (those who have attained to the continuous repetition of the Name of Allah).

3/Al-i'Imran-8: Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower (the Most Liberal Giver).

3/Al-i'Imran-9: Rabbana innaka jamiAAu alnnasi liyawmin la rayba feehi inna Allaha la yukhlifu almeeAAada
Our Lord! Verily, it is You Who will gather the men (mankind) together on a Day about which there no doubt. Allah does not fail (never breaks) the (His) Promise.

3/Al-i'Imran-10: Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan waolaika hum waqoodu alnnari
(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their property nor their children shall avail them in the least against anything (the torment coming) from Allah; and it is they who will be fuel of the Fire.

3/Al-i'Imran-11: Kadabi ali firAAawna waallatheena min qablihim kaththaboo biayatina faakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim waAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi
Like the behavior (striving) of the people of Pharaoh and those before them; they belied (denied) our Signs (Verses...), so that Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is Severe in punishment (requiting).

3/Al-i'Imran-12: Qul lillatheena kafaroo satughlaboona watuhsharoona ila jahannama wabisa almihadu
Say to those who disbelieve; You will be vanquished and gathered together to Hell, and worst indeed is that place of rest.

3/Al-i'Imran-13: Qad kana lakum ayatun fee fiatayni iltaqata fiatun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahi waokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim raya alAAayni waAllahu yuayyidu binasrihi man yashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan liolee alabsari
There has already been a sign for you in the two armies (hosts) that met on the battlefield (the Battle of Badr). One party fighting in the Way of Allah and the other disbelieving. They (the believers) saw them (the disbelievers) with their own eyes twice their number; and Allah strengthens with His Aid whom He wills; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have insight (are the owners of Insight).

3/Al-i'Imran-14: Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbu alshshahawati mina alnnisai waalbaneena waalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabi waalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waalanAAami waalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayati alddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnu almaabi
The love of lusts (consisting), of women and children, of hoarded treasures of gold and silver, of branded beautiful horses and cattle and well-tilled land, is made to seem fair (beautiful) to men; this is the provision of the life of this world; and Allah is He with Whom is the best Return (Shelter).

3/Al-i'Imran-15: Qul aonabbiokum bikhayrin min thalikum lillatheena ittaqaw AAinda rabbihim jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha waazwajun mutahharatun waridwanun mina Allahi waAllahu baseerun bialAAibadi
Say: Shall I inform you of what is far better than those? For the Pious (the owners of Takwâ, Piety) there are Gardens with their Lord, underneath which rivers flow, to abide in them forever, and purified wives and Allah’s Pleasure; and Allah is All-Seer of the (His) servants.

3/Al-i'Imran-16: Allatheena yaqooloona rabbana innana amanna faighfir lana thunoobana waqina AAathaba alnnari
They say: Our Lord! We have indeed believed (became âmenû), so forgive us (change our faults into rewards) and save us from the torment of the Fire.

3/Al-i'Imran-17: Alssabireena waalssadiqeena waalqaniteena waalmunfiqeena waalmustaghfireena bialashari
(They are) those who are patient and those who are true (who accomplish their vow) and obedient (who stay a long time before Allah in prayer with a profound respect) and those who spend (for Allah) and those who ask forgiveness at the time before dawn.

3/Al-i'Imran-18: Shahida Allahu annahu la ilaha illa huwa waalmalaikatu waoloo alAAilmi qaiman bialqisti la ilaha illa huwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge kept up with justice (bear witness): there is no god except He. He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

3/Al-i'Imran-19: Inna alddeena AAinda Allahi alislamu wama ikhtalafa allatheena ootoo alkitaba illa min baAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum waman yakfur biayati Allahi fainna Allaha sareeAAu alhisabi
Truly, the Religion with Allah is Islam (submission, Peace...). Those to whom the Book had been given, did not differ, out of mutual envy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Verses (Signs) of Allah, then surely Allah is Swift in reckoning.

3/Al-i'Imran-20: Fain hajjooka faqul aslamtu wajhiya lillahi wamani ittabaAAani waqul lillatheena ootoo alkitaba waalommiyyeena aaslamtum fain aslamoo faqadi ihtadaw wain tawallaw fainnama AAalayka albalaghu waAllahu baseerun bialAAibadi
So if they dispute with you, say: I have submitted myself (my physical body) to Allah, and (so) every one who follows (depends on) me; and say to those who have been given the Book and to those who are illiterates: Do you (also) submit yourselves (your physical bodies) (to Allah) So if they submit, then indeed they have (already) attained to Guidance; and if they turn away, then upon you is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All-Seer of the (His) servants.

3/Al-i'Imran-21: Inna allatheena yakfuroona biayati Allahi wayaqtuloona alnnabiyyeena bighayri haqqin wayaqtuloona allatheena yamuroona bialqisti mina alnnasi fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin
Verily! Those who disbelieve in the Verses (Signs)of Allah and kill the Prophets without right and kill those among men who enjoin justice... then announce to them a painful torment.

3/Al-i'Imran-22: Olaika allatheena habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunya waalakhirati wama lahum min nasireena
Those are they whose works have become null in this world and in the Hereafter; and for them there are no helpers.

3/Al-i'Imran-23: Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yudAAawna ila kitabi Allahi liyahkuma baynahum thumma yatawalla fareequn minhum wahum muAAridoona
Have you not considered those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah that it might decide between them, then a part of them turn back and they withdraw.

3/Al-i'Imran-24: Thalika biannahum qaloo lan tamassana alnnaru illa ayyaman maAAdoodatin wagharrahum fee deenihim ma kanoo yaftaroona
This is because they say: The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days; and what they have forged deceives them in (the matter of) their religion.

3/Al-i'Imran-25: Fakayfa itha jamaAAnahum liyawmin la rayba feehi wawuffiyat kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona
Then how (will it be) when We gather them all together on a Day about which there is no doubt, and every soul shall be fully paid what it has earned and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.

3/Al-i'Imran-26: Quli allahumma malika almulki tutee almulka man tashao watanziAAu almulka mimman tashao watuAAizzu man tashao watuthillu man tashao biyadika alkhayru innaka AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
Say: O Allah! Owner of the sovereignty! You give the sovereignty to whom You will and You takes away the sovereignty from whom You will and You exalt whom You will and abase whom You will; In Your Hand is the Good; surely You have Power over all things.

3/Al-i'Imran-27: Tooliju allayla fee alnnahari watooliju alnnahara fee allayli watukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti watukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi watarzuqu man tashao bighayri hisabin
You make the night to pass (enter) into the day and You make the day to pass into the night, and You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living and You give sustenance to whom You will without measure (stint).

3/Al-i'Imran-28: La yattakhithi almuminoona alkafireena awliyaa min dooni almumineena waman yafAAal thalika falaysa mina Allahi fee shayin illa an tattaqoo minhum tuqatan wayuhaththirukumu Allahu nafsahu waila Allahi almaseeru
Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he is not in anything [in (the lights of) mercy and virtue] from Allah, except if you guard yourselves against them , taking a precaution (you may then be friends to them). Allah makes you cautious of Himself (He wills that you may have piety towards Him) and to Allah is the final return (it is Allah’s Essence at which the spirit will arrive).

3/Al-i'Imran-29: Qul in tukhfoo ma fee sudoorikum aw tubdoohu yaAAlamhu Allahu wayaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waAllahu AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
Say: Whether you hide what is in your breasts (hearts) or manifest it, Allah knows it and Allah knows whatever in the heavens and whatever in the earth, and Allah has Power over all things.

3/Al-i'Imran-30: Yawma tajidu kullu nafsin ma AAamilat min khayrin muhdaran wama AAamilat min sooin tawaddu law anna baynaha wabaynahu amadan baAAeedan wayuhaththirukumu Allahu nafsahu waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadi
On the Day when every soul shall find present what it has done of good and what it has done of evil, it shall wish that between it and that (evil) there were a great distance (a long duration of time); and Allah makes you cautious of Himself; and Allah is full of kindness to the (His) servants.

3/Al-i'Imran-31: Qul in kuntum tuhibboona Allaha faittabiAAoonee yuhbibkumu Allahu wayaghfir lakum thunoobakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
Say: If you (really) love Allah then depend on (follow) me, Allah will love you and forgive your sins (change your faults into rewards). And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

3/Al-i'Imran-32: Qul ateeAAoo Allaha waalrrasoola fain tawallaw fainna Allaha la yuhibbu alkafireena
Say: Obey Allah and His Messenger; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the disbelievers.

3/Al-i'Imran-33: Inna Allaha istafa adama wanoohan waala ibraheema waala AAimrana AAala alAAalameena
Surely Allah chose Adam and Noah, and the Family of Abraham and the Family of ‘Imran over the worlds (of makind and jinn of their times).

3/Al-i'Imran-34: Thurriyyatan baAAduha min baAAdin waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun
(They are offspring one of the other; and Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

3/Al-i'Imran-35: Ith qalati imraatu AAimrana rabbi innee nathartu laka ma fee batnee muharraran fataqabbal minnee innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu
(Remember) when a woman of ‘Imran said: My Lord! Surely I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be devoted (so that she might obey and serve you only); so accept (this) from me, Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing.

3/Al-i'Imran-36: Falamma wadaAAatha qalat rabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha waAllahu aAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa alththakaru kaalontha wainnee sammaytuha maryama wainnee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyataha mina alshshaytani alrrajeemi
So when she gave birth to her, she said: My Lord! I have given birth to a female child-and Allah knew best what she brought forth-and the male (child) is not like the female (child), and I have named her Mary (Maryam) and I seek refuge with You for her and her offspring from the accursed Shaitan (Satan).

3/Al-i'Imran-37: Fataqabbalaha rabbuha biqaboolin hasanin waanbataha nabatan hasanan wakaffalaha zakariyya kullama dakhala AAalayha zakariyya almihraba wajada AAindaha rizqan qala ya maryamu anna laki hatha qalat huwa min AAindi Allahi inna Allaha yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin
So her Lord accepted her with a good acceptance and made her grow up a good growing and gave her into the charge of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah entered the praying place (or a private room) [Al-Mihrâb] to (visit) her, he found with her food (sustenance). He said: O Mary! Where is this food from? She said: It is from Allah. Surely Allah gives to whom He wills without stint (measure).

3/Al-i'Imran-38: Hunalika daAAa zakariyya rabbahu qala rabbi hab lee min ladunka thurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka sameeAAu aldduAAai
There did Zachariah pray to his Lord; he said: My Lord! grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of prayer.

3/Al-i'Imran-39: Fanadathu almalaikatu wahuwa qaimun yusallee fee almihrabi anna Allaha yubashshiruka biyahya musaddiqan bikalimatin mina Allahi wasayyidan wahasooran wanabiyyan mina alssaliheena
Then the angels called to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary (mihrâb, holy place): Allah gives you the glad tidings of John (Yahyâ), confirming a Word from Allah, and princely and chaste and a Prophet from among the improved ones (sâlihîn).

3/Al-i'Imran-40: Qala rabbi anna yakoonu lee ghulamun waqad balaghaniya alkibaru waimraatee AAaqirun qala kathalika Allahu yafAAalu ma yashao
He (Zachariah) said: My Lord! How can there be a son (born) to me, when old age has already come upon me and my wife is barren? He (Allah) said: Thus Allah does what He wills.

3/Al-i'Imran-41: Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qala ayatuka alla tukallima alnnasa thalathata ayyamin illa ramzan waothkur rabbaka katheeran wasabbih bialAAashiyyi waalibkari
He (Zachariah) said: My Lord! Make a sign (portent) for me. He (Allah) said: Your sign is that you shall not speak to men for three days except with signals. And remember (repeat the Name of) your Lord much and glorify (Him) in the early hours of night and morning.

3/Al-i'Imran-42: Waith qalati almalaikatu ya maryamu inna Allaha istafaki watahharaki waistafaki AAala nisai alAAalameena
And (remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you, and chosen you over the women of the worlds.

3/Al-i'Imran-43: Ya maryamu oqnutee lirabbiki waosjudee wairkaAAee maAAa alrrakiAAeena
O Mary! Keep to obedience to your Lord (Stay in prayer a long time before your Lord with profound respect) and prostrate yourself, and bow with those who bow down (in worship).

3/Al-i'Imran-44: Thalika min anbai alghaybi nooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ith yulqoona aqlamahum ayyuhum yakfulu maryama wama kunta ladayhim ith yakhtasimoona
This is of the news of the Unseen which We reveal to you; and you were not with them when they cast their pens (to decide) which of them should be charged with the care of Mary; nor were you with them when they disputed one with another.

3/Al-i'Imran-45: Ith qalati almalaikatu ya maryamu inna Allaha yubashshiruki bikalimatin minhu ismuhu almaseehu AAeesa ibnu maryama wajeehan fee alddunya waalakhirati wamina almuqarrabeena
(Remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him, whose name is Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, held in honor in this world and in the Hereafter and (he shall be) one of those who are brought near (to Gad).

3/Al-i'Imran-46: Wayukallimu alnnasa fee almahdi wakahlan wamina alssaliheena
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the improved ones (sâlihîn).

3/Al-i'Imran-47: Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu lee waladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahu yakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amran fainnama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu
She said: How shall there be a son (born) to me and no man has touched me? He said: Even so, Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed a matter, He says to it only: Be! – and it is.

3/Al-i'Imran-48: WayuAAallimuhu alkitaba waalhikmata waalttawrata waalinjeela
And He (Allah) will teach him (Jesus) the Book, and Wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel.

3/Al-i'Imran-49: Warasoolan ila banee israeela annee qad jitukum biayatin min rabbikum annee akhluqu lakum mina altteeni kahayati alttayri faanfukhu feehi fayakoonu tayran biithni Allahi waobrio alakmaha waalabrasa waohyee almawta biithni Allahi waonabbiokum bima takuloona wama taddakhiroona fee buyootikum inna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mumineena
(and He will send him) as a Messenger to the Children of Israel: (saying) That I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust (clay) like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a (living) bird with Allah’s Leave and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s Permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-50: Wamusaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawrati waliohilla lakum baAAda allathee hurrima AAalaykum wajitukum biayatin min rabbikum faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni
And (I have come) confirming that which is before me of the Torah and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So have piety (takwâ) towards Allah and obey me.

3/Al-i'Imran-51: Inna Allaha rabbee warabbukum faoAAbudoohu hatha siratun mustaqeemun
Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is The Path directed (towards Allah).

3/Al-i'Imran-52: Falamma ahassa AAeesa minhumu alkufra qala man ansaree ila Allahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaru Allahi amanna biAllahi waishhad bianna muslimoona
Then when Jesus perceived unbelief on their part, he said: Who are my helpers in (the Way going to) Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers of Allah. We believe in Allah (We wish to make our spirits reach Allah before death) and bear witness that we are submitting ones [muslimûn=those who have surrendered (themselves to Allah)].

3/Al-i'Imran-53: Rabbana amanna bima anzalta waittabaAAna alrrasoola faoktubna maAAa alshshahideena
Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we depend on (follow) the Messenger, so write us down among those who bear witness.

3/Al-i'Imran-54: Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena
And they (disbelievers) schemed and Allah schemed (against them) too. And Allah is the Best of schemers.

3/Al-i'Imran-55: Ith qala Allahu ya AAeesa innee mutawaffeeka warafiAAuka ilayya wamutahhiruka mina allatheena kafaroo wajaAAilu allatheena ittabaAAooka fawqa allatheena kafaroo ila yawmi alqiyamati thumma ilayya marjiAAukum faahkumu baynakum feema kuntum feehi takhtalifoona
And (remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! surely I am gathering (taking) you and causing you to ascend to Me, and I am cleansing you of those who disbelieve, and am setting those who depend on (follow) you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me shall be your return, so I will judge (decide) between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

3/Al-i'Imran-56: Faamma allatheena kafaroo faoAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan fee alddunya waalakhirati wama lahum min nasireena
Then as to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment, and for them there shall be no helpers.

3/Al-i'Imran-57: Waamma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fayuwaffeehim ojoorahum waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena
And as to those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds [that purify the souls (‘hearts)], He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the wrong-doers (unjust, polytheists...).

3/Al-i'Imran-58: Thalika natloohu AAalayka mina alayati waalththikri alhakeemi
This is what We read (and explain) to you of the Verses (Signs) and of the wise Reminder (containing Judgement and Wisdom).

3/Al-i'Imran-59: Inna mathala AAeesa AAinda Allahi kamathali adama khalaqahu min turabin thumma qala lahu kun fayakoonu
Surely the likeness of Jesus is with (before) Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: Be! –and he was.

3/Al-i'Imran-60: Alhaqqu min rabbika fala takun mina almumtareena
The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt.

3/Al-i'Imran-61: Faman hajjaka feehi min baAAdi ma jaaka mina alAAilmi faqul taAAalaw nadAAu abnaana waabnaakum wanisaana wanisaakum waanfusana waanfusakum thumma nabtahil fanajAAal laAAnata Allahi AAala alkathibeena
Then whoever disputes with you concerning him (Jesus) after what has come to you of the knowledge, then say: Come, let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and ourselves and yourselves, then let us be earnest in prayer and invoke the Curse of Allah on the liars.

3/Al-i'Imran-62: Inna hatha lahuwa alqasasu alhaqqu wama min ilahin illa Allahu wainna Allaha lahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu
Verily! This is the true narrative (about the story of Jesus) and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah-He is certainly the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

3/Al-i'Imran-63: Fain tawallaw fainna Allaha AAaleemun bialmufsideena
But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers.

3/Al-i'Imran-64: Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalaw ila kalimatin sawain baynana wabaynakum alla naAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihi shayan wala yattakhitha baAAduna baAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fain tawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bianna muslimoona
Say: O People of the Book (Scripture)! come to an equitable word between us and you, that we shall not serve (become servants to) any but Allah and that we shall not associate anything with Him, and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah; And if they turn back, then say: Bear witness that we are the surrenders (to Allah, Muslimûn).

3/Al-i'Imran-65: Ya ahla alkitabi lima tuhajjoona fee ibraheema wama onzilati alttawratu waalinjeelu illa min baAAdihi afala taAAqiloona
O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not sent down till after him? Do you not exercise your mind?

3/Al-i'Imran-66: Haantum haolai hajajtum feema lakum bihi AAilmun falima tuhajjoona feema laysa lakum bihi AAilmun waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona
Indeed, you are those who argue about that of which you have some knowledge; why then do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allah who knows, and you do not know.

3/Al-i'Imran-67: Ma kana ibraheemu yahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakin kana haneefan musliman wama kana mina almushrikeena
Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian but he was a “hanîf” (who believed in the Oneness of Allah and in the fact that one has to make one’s spirit reach Allah before death and to submit to Allah) a Muslim (who submitted to Allah), and he was not of the associators (polytheists).

3/Al-i'Imran-68: Inna awla alnnasi biibraheema lallatheena ittabaAAoohu wahatha alnnabiyyu waallatheena amanoo waAllahu waliyyu almumineena
Most surely the nearest of the men to Abraham are those who depended on (followed) him and this Prophet (Muhammad) and those who believe (who become âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before dying) and Allah is the Protecting Friend (Walî) of the believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-69: Waddat taifatun min ahli alkitabi law yudilloonakum wama yudilloona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona
A party of the people of the Book wish that they should make you fall into Misguidance and they can not make anyone fall into Misguidance except themselves.

3/Al-i'Imran-70: Ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona biayati Allahi waantum tashhadoona
O People of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the Verses (Signs...) of Allah while you bear witness (to their truth)?

3/Al-i'Imran-71: Ya ahla alkitabi lima talbisoona alhaqqa bialbatili wataktumoona alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona
O People of the Book! Why do you mix the truth with the falsehood and knowingly conceal the truth?

3/Al-i'Imran-72: Waqalat taifatun min ahli alkitabi aminoo biallathee onzila AAala allatheena amanoo wajha alnnahari waokfuroo akhirahu laAAallahum yarjiAAoona
And a party of the People of the Book say: Believe in the morning in that which has been sent down to those who believe (who are âmenû) and disbelieve in (deny, reject) it in the evening, so that they may turn away (from their faith, their religion).

3/Al-i'Imran-73: Wala tuminoo illa liman tabiAAa deenakum qul inna alhuda huda Allahi an yuta ahadun mithla ma ooteetum aw yuhajjookum AAinda rabbikum qul inna alfadla biyadi Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun
And do not believe but in him who follows your religion. Say: Surely the (true) Guidance (the fact that Allah makes the man’s spirit reach Himself) is the Guidance of Allah-that one may be given (by Him) the like of what You are given; or they would argue with you before your Lord. Say: Surely all the Bounty (the light of Virtue) is in the Hand of Allah. He gives it to whom He wills and Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.

3/Al-i'Imran-74: Yakhtassu birahmatihi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
He assigns His Mercy to whom He wills and Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty (Virtue).

3/Al-i'Imran-75: Wamin ahli alkitabi man in tamanhu biqintarin yuaddihi ilayka waminhum man in tamanhu bideenarin la yuaddihi ilayka illa ma dumta AAalayhi qaiman thalika biannahum qaloo laysa AAalayna fee alommiyyeena sabeelun wayaqooloona AAala Allahi alkathiba wahum yaAAlamoona
Of the People of the Book is he who, if entrusted with a heap of wealth, will readily pay it back; and of them there is he who, if entrusted a single silver coin, will not repay it unless you constantly stand demanding, because they say: There is upon us no way (no responsibility about) the illiterates (Gentiles).

3/Al-i'Imran-76: Bala man awfa biAAahdihi waittaqa fainna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena
No, (it is not so)! Whoever fulfils his pledge (covenant made with Allah) and has piety (takwâ), verily, then Allah loves the pious (the owners of piety, takwâ.

3/Al-i'Imran-77: Inna allatheena yashtaroona biAAahdi Allahi waaymanihim thamanan qaleelan olaika la khalaqa lahum fee alakhirati wala yukallimuhumu Allahu wala yanthuru ilayhim yawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahum AAathabun aleemun
Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and their oaths, it is they for whom there will be no portion in the Hereafter and Allah will not speak to them and He will not look at them and for them there is a painful torment.

3/Al-i'Imran-78: Wainna minhum lafareeqan yalwoona alsinatahum bialkitabi litahsaboohu mina alkitabi wama huwa mina alkitabi wayaqooloona huwa min AAindi Allahi wama huwa min AAindi Allahi wayaqooloona AAala Allahi alkathiba wahum yaAAlamoona
And most surely there is a party of them who distort the Book with their tongues that you may consider it to be of the Book and it is not from the Book and they say that it is from Allah and it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie against Allah knowingly.

3/Al-i'Imran-79: Ma kana libasharin an yutiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasi koonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakin koonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoona alkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona
It is not (possible, fitting) for any human being that Allah should give him the Book and the Wisdom and the Prophethood, then he should say to the men: Be servants to me apart from Allah but rather (he would say): be learned men of religion (who have devoted themselves to the Lord) by virtue of your constant study and teaching of the Book.

3/Al-i'Imran-80: Wala yamurakum an tattakhithoo almalaikata waalnnabiyyeena arbaban ayamurukum bialkufri baAAda ith antum muslimoona
And neither would He enjoin you that you should take the angels and the prophets for lords; what! Would He enjoin you with (the) unbelief after you became submitters (to Allah, muslimûn).

3/Al-i'Imran-81: Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa alnnabiyyeena lama ataytukum min kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakum rasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latuminunna bihi walatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtum AAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarna qala faishhadoo waana maAAakum mina alshshahideena
When Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, (He said): Here are (of) the Book and the Wisdom I have given you, then a Messenger comes to you confirming that which is with you, you must definitly believe in him and you must definitely help him. He (Allah) said: Do you agree (to it) and accept My Compact in this (matter)? They said: We agree. He said: Then bear witness and I (too) am of the bearers of witness with you.

3/Al-i'Imran-82: Faman tawalla baAAda thalika faolaika humu alfasiqoona
Whoever therefore turns back after this, these it is that are the Fâsiqûn (those who are not in the Way of Allah or have gone out of it, transgressors...)

3/Al-i'Imran-83: Afaghayra deeni Allahi yabghoona walahu aslama man fee alssamawati waalardi tawAAan wakarhan wailayhi yurjaAAoona
Is it then other than Allah’s Religion that they seek (to follow)? And to Him submit whoever is in the heavens and in the earth willingly and unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned.

3/Al-i'Imran-84: Qul amanna biAllahi wama onzila AAalayna wama onzila AAala ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbati wama ootiya moosa waAAeesa waalnnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahu muslimoona
Say: We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes [the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob], and what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the (other) prophets from their Lord; We do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him (Allah) we have surrendered (Muslimûn, to Him we are submitters).

3/Al-i'Imran-85: Waman yabtaghi ghayra alislami deenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee alakhirati mina alkhasireena
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam (Submission to Allah, being in peace), it shall not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the losers.

3/Al-i'Imran-86: Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroo baAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna alrrasoola haqqun wajaahumu albayyinatu waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they had borne witness that the Messenger is true and the clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does not make the unjust people attain to Guidance.

3/Al-i'Imran-87: Olaika jazaohum anna AAalayhim laAAnata Allahi waalmalaikati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena
(As for these) their reward (punishment) is that upon them is the Curse of Allah and the angels and of the men, all together.

3/Al-i'Imran-88: Khalideena feeha la yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoona
Abiding in it forever; the torment will not be lightened from them and they will not be reprieved (be looked at).

3/Al-i'Imran-89: Illa allatheena taboo min baAAdi thalika waaslahoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
Except those who afterwards repent and improve (that is, purify their souls’ hearts), then surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

3/Al-i'Imran-90: Inna allatheena kafaroo baAAda eemanihim thumma izdadoo kufran lan tuqbala tawbatuhum waolaika humu alddalloona
Surely, those who disbelieve after their believing, then increase in disbelief, their repentance (the repentance of those who fell into Misguidance for the third time) will not be accepted and these are they who are in Misguidance.

3/Al-i'Imran-91: Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoo wahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim milo alardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi olaika lahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena
Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them even if he should offer to ransom himself with it; these it is who shall have a painful torment and for them there shall be no helpers.

3/Al-i'Imran-92: Lan tanaloo albirra hatta tunfiqoo mimma tuhibboona wama tunfiqoo min shayin fainna Allaha bihi AAaleemun
By no means shall you attain to Al-Birr (what makes men worthy of Paradise) until you spend out of what you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows it.

3/Al-i'Imran-93: Kullu alttaAAami kana hillan libanee israeela illa ma harrama israeelu AAala nafsihi min qabli an tunazzala alttawratu qul fatoo bialttawrati faotlooha in kuntum sadiqeena
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Torah was sent down. Say: Bring then the Torah and read it, if you are truthful (in your oaths and words).

3/Al-i'Imran-94: Famani iftara AAala Allahi alkathiba min baAAdi thalika faolaika humu althalimoona
Then whoever fabricates a lie against Allah after this, these it is that are the wrong-doers.

3/Al-i'Imran-95: Qul sadaqa Allahu faittabiAAoo millata ibraheema haneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena
Say: Allah has spoken (speaks) the truth. Therefore follow the religion of Abraham, the upright (pure monotheist, Hanîfâ) and he was not of the associators (polytheists).

3/Al-i'Imran-96: Inna awwala baytin wudiAAa lilnnasi lallathee bibakkata mubarakan wahudan lilAAalameena
Most surely the first House appointed for the men was that at Bekka, full of blessing and a Guidance for the worlds (nations…).

3/Al-i'Imran-97: Feehi ayatun bayyinatun maqamu ibraheema waman dakhalahu kana aminan walillahi AAala alnnasi hijju albayti mani istataAAa ilayhi sabeelan waman kafara fainna Allaha ghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena
In it are manifest signs, the standing place of Abraham, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon the men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is not in need of the worlds.

3/Al-i'Imran-98: Qul ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona biayati Allahi waAllahu shaheedun AAala ma taAAmaloona
Say: O People of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the Verses (Signs) of Allah? And Allah is a Witness of what you do.

3/Al-i'Imran-99: Qul ya ahla alkitabi lima tasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi man amana tabghoonaha AAiwajan waantum shuhadao wama Allahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona
Say: O People of the Book! Why do you hinder him who believes from the Way of Allah? You seek (to make) it crooked, while you are witnesses (to the truths) and Allah is not Unaware of what you do.

3/Al-i'Imran-100: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tuteeAAoo fareeqan mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba yaruddookum baAAda eemanikum kafireena
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! If you obey a party from among those who have been given the Book, they will turn you back as unbelievers after you have believed.

3/Al-i'Imran-101: Wakayfa takfuroona waantum tutla AAalaykum ayatu Allahi wafeekum rasooluhu waman yaAAtasim biAllahi faqad hudiya ila siratin mustaqeemin
And how would you disbelieve, while unto you are read (and explained) the Verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds fast to Allah, he is indeed guided to The Path directed (towards Allah).

3/Al-i'Imran-102: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha haqqa tuqatihi wala tamootunna illa waantum muslimoona
O you who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death)! Have piety (takwâ) towards Allah with His right piety (at the utmost piety), and do not die unless you are submitters (to Allah) [Muslimûn=those who have accomplished their four submissions, i.e. those of the spirits, the physical bodies, the souls and the free wills).

3/Al-i'Imran-103: WaiAAtasimoo bihabli Allahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaan faallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihi ikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratin mina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakum tahtadoona
And hold fast, all together, to the Rope of Allah and do not be divided (into sects). And remember the Blessing of Allah on you, for you were enemies one to another, then He made friendship between your hearts (He joined your hearts together), so that, by His Blessing, you became brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Verses (Signs) clear to you, that you may attain to Guidance.

3/Al-i'Imran-104: Waltakun minkum ommatun yadAAoona ila alkhayri wayamuroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAani almunkari waolaika humu almuflihoona
) Let there arise from you a group of people (community) who invite to all that is good and enjoin what is right (Al-Ma’rûf, all that Islam orders one to do) and forbid the wrong (all that Islam has forbidden, Al-Munkar) and it is they who are the successful (who have attained to the Bliss in the Hereafter and the happiness in this worldly life).

3/Al-i'Imran-105: Wala takoonoo kaallatheena tafarraqoo waikhtalafoo min baAAdi ma jaahumu albayyinatu waolaika lahum AAathabun AAatheemun
And do not be like those who became divided and disagreed after the clear arguments had come to them, and for them there is a tremendous torment.

3/Al-i'Imran-106: Yawma tabyaddu wujoohun wataswaddu wujoohun faamma allatheena iswaddat wujoohuhum akafartum baAAda eemanikum fathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona
On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black: Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste there the torment because you disbelieved.

3/Al-i'Imran-107: Waamma allatheena ibyaddat wujoohuhum fafee rahmati Allahi hum feeha khalidoona
And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah’s Mercy; in it they shall abide forever.

3/Al-i'Imran-108: Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi wama Allahu yureedu thulman lilAAalameena
these are the Verses (Signs) of Allah which We recite (read and explain) to you with truth, and Allah wills no injustice to the worlds.

3/Al-i'Imran-109: Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waila Allahi turjaAAu alomooru
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s; and to Allah all affairs (orders) are returned.

3/Al-i'Imran-110: Kuntum khayra ommatin okhrijat lilnnasi tamuroona bialmaAAroofi watanhawna AAani almunkari watuminoona biAllahi walaw amana ahlu alkitabi lakana khayran lahum minhumu almuminoona waaktharuhumu alfasiqoona
You are the best community (Umma, nation) ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin what is right (Al-Ma’rûf) and forbid what is wrong (Al- Munkar) and believe in Allah; and if the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors (Al-Fâsiqûn).

3/Al-i'Imran-111: Lan yadurrookum illa athan wain yuqatilookum yuwallookumu aladbara thumma la yunsaroona
They shall by no means harm you but with a slight hurt; and if they fight with you, they shall turn (their) backs to you, then they shall not be helped.

3/Al-i'Imran-112: Duribat AAalayhimu alththillatu ayna ma thuqifoo illa bihablin mina Allahi wahablin mina alnnasi wabaoo bighadabin mina Allahi waduribat AAalayhimu almaskanatu thalika biannahum kanoo yakfuroona biayati Allahi wayaqtuloona alanbiyaa bighayri haqqin thalika bima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona
The stamp of abasement is imprinted on them wherever they are found, except (those who cling to) a Rope from Allah (to The Path directed towards Allah) and to a rope from the men to the murshid (saint guide) who will make men reach Allah] and they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allah, and the stamp of humiliation (wretchedness) is imprinted on them; this is because they disbelieved in the Verses (Signs) of Allah and killed the Prophets unjustly; this is because they rebelled (against Allah) and used to transgress beyond all bounds.

3/Al-i'Imran-113: Laysoo sawaan min ahli alkitabi ommatun qaimatun yatloona ayati Allahi anaa allayli wahum yasjudoona
(Yet) they are not all alike; of the People of the Book there is a community who recite the Verses (Signs) of Allah by standing during the hours of the night and prostrate themselves (in prayer).

3/Al-i'Imran-114: Yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri wayamuroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAani almunkari wayusariAAoona fee alkhayrati waolaika mina alssaliheena
They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right (Al-Ma’rûf) and forbid what is wrong (Al-Munkar) and vie with one another in good works. They are of the improved ones (Sâlihîn).

3/Al-i'Imran-115: Wama yafAAaloo min khayrin falan yukfaroohu waAllahu AAaleemun bialmuttaqeena
And whatever good they do, nothing will be denied of them (their reward will absolutely be given to them) for Allah knows well those who are pious (the owners of piety, takwâ).

3/Al-i'Imran-116: Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan waolaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona
(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah; and these are the inmates of the Fire, therein they shall abide forever.

3/Al-i'Imran-117: Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihi alhayati alddunya kamathali reehin feeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamoo anfusahum faahlakathu wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin anfusahum yathlimoona
The likeness of what they spend in the life of this world (for ostentation and boasting) is as the likeness of a biting, icy, scorching wind, which smites the harvest of people who have wronged themselves (who always lose positive degrees by not obeying the orders and prohibitions of Allah) laying it waste, and Allah did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves.

3/Al-i'Imran-118: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la yaloonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu alayati in kuntum taAAqiloona
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Do not take for intimate friends other than your own people, they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed We have made the Verses (Signs) clear to you if you exercise mind.

3/Al-i'Imran-119: Haantum olai tuhibboonahum wala yuhibboonakum watuminoona bialkitabi kullihi waitha laqookum qaloo amanna waitha khalaw AAaddoo AAalaykumu alanamila mina alghaythi qul mootoo bighaythikum inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
Lo! You are they who love them while they do not love you, and you believe in the Book (in) the whole of it; and when they meet you they say: We believe, and when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you with rage. Say: Die in your rage; surely Allah knows what is in the breasts.

3/Al-i'Imran-120: In tamsaskum hasanatun tasuhum wain tusibkum sayyiatun yafrahoo biha wain tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukum kayduhum shayan inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun
If a good befalls you, it grieves them, and if an evil strikes you, they rejoice at it; and if you are patient and have piety, their scheme will not injure you in any way; surely Allah surrounds all that you do.

3/Al-i'Imran-121: Waith ghadawta min ahlika tubawwio almumineena maqaAAida lilqitali waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun
And (remember) when you did go forth early in the morning from your household to lodge the believers in encampments for the battle (of Uhud) and Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

3/Al-i'Imran-122: Ith hammat taifatani minkum an tafshala waAllahu waliyyuhuma waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona
When two parties of you were about to become fainthearted and Allah was their Protecting friend (Wali). In Allah let the believers put their trust.

3/Al-i'Imran-123: Walaqad nasarakumu Allahu bibadrin waantum athillatun faittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tashkuroona
And Allah did certainly assist you at (the battle of) Badr when you were a weak little force. So have piety (takwâ) towards Allah in order that you may be thankful.

3/Al-i'Imran-124: Ith taqoolu lilmumineena alan yakfiyakum an yumiddakum rabbukum bithalathati alafin mina almalaikati munzaleena
(Remember) when you said to the believers: Does it not suffice you that your Lord should assist you with three thousand of the angels sent down?

3/Al-i'Imran-125: Bala in tasbiroo watattaqoo wayatookum min fawrihim hatha yumdidkum rabbukum bikhamsati alafin mina almalaikati musawwimeena
Yes: if you remain patient and have piety (if you are on your guard), and they come upon you in a headlong manner, your Lord will assist you with five thousand angels having marks (making a terrific onslaught).

3/Al-i'Imran-126: Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illa bushra lakum walitatmainna quloobukum bihi wama alnnasru illa min AAindi Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi
Allah made it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And there is no (assistance) victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

3/Al-i'Imran-127: LiyaqtaAAa tarafan mina allatheena kafaroo aw yakbitahum fayanqaliboo khaibeena
That He might cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or expose them to infamy, so that they retire frustrated.

3/Al-i'Imran-128: Laysa laka mina alamri shayon aw yatooba AAalayhim aw yuAAaththibahum fainnahum thalimoona
(There is) for you no thing in the affair (there is nothing you can do): whether He turns to them (He accepts their repentance) or torments (punishes) them; for surely they are wrongdoers (unjust).

3/Al-i'Imran-129: Walillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibu man yashao waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s; He forgives whom He wills, and torments whom He wills. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

3/Al-i'Imran-130: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takuloo alrriba adAAafan mudaAAafatan waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tuflihoona
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Do not eat up usury doubled and multiplied, and have piety towards Allah that you may attain to Salvation (to the Bliss in the Hereafter and the happiness in the worldly life).

3/Al-i'Imran-131: Waittaqoo alnnara allatee oAAiddat lilkafireena
And guard yourselves against the Fire (which has been) prepared for the unbelievers.

3/Al-i'Imran-132: WaateeAAoo Allaha waalrrasoola laAAallakum turhamoona
And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may be shown mercy.

3/Al-i'Imran-133: WasariAAoo ila maghfiratin min rabbikum wajannatin AAarduha alssamawatu waalardu oAAiddat lilmuttaqeena
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and to a Garden (Paradise), the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, prepared for the owners of piety (takwâ).

3/Al-i'Imran-134: Allatheena yunfiqoona fee alssarrai waalddarrai waalkathimeena alghaytha waalAAafeena AAani alnnasi waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena
Those who spend (for the sake of Allah) in ease and in straitness and those who repress their anger and pardon the men; and Allah loves the good-doers (Al-Muhsinûn=those who have submitted their physical bodies to Allah by making them servants to Him).

3/Al-i'Imran-135: Waallatheena itha faAAaloo fahishatan aw thalamoo anfusahum thakaroo Allaha faistaghfaroo lithunoobihim waman yaghfiru alththunooba illa Allahu walam yusirroo AAala ma faAAaloo wahum yaAAlamoona
And those who, when they commit an indecency or wrong their souls (themselves) remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-and who forgives the faults (sins) except Allah only? And (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done.

3/Al-i'Imran-136: Olaika jazaohum maghfiratun min rabbihim wajannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha waniAAma ajru alAAamileena
(As for) these-their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them forever. How excellent is the reward of the workers (doers).

3/Al-i'Imran-137: Qad khalat min qablikum sunanun faseeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena
Many ways of life have passed away before you (in many communities), so travel through the earth, and see what was the end of the rejecters (deniers, liars).

3/Al-i'Imran-138: Hatha bayanun lilnnasi wahudan wamawAAithatun lilmuttaqeena
This (Qur’ân, these Verses) is a clear statement for the men and guidance and admonition to the owners of piety (takwâ).

3/Al-i'Imran-139: Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoo waantumu alaAAlawna in kuntum mumineena
So do not become weak, nor be grieving, and you shall have the upper hand if you are (true) believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-140: In yamsaskum qarhun faqad massa alqawma qarhun mithluhu watilka alayyamu nudawiluha bayna alnnasi waliyaAAlama Allahu allatheena amanoo wayattakhitha minkum shuhadaa waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena
If a wound has afflicted you (at UHUD), a wound like it has also afflicted the (other) people and We bring these days to men by turns and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you, and Allah does not love the wrongdoers (unjust).

3/Al-i'Imran-141: Waliyumahhisa Allahu allatheena amanoo wayamhaqa alkafireena
And that Allah may purge (or test) the believers (from sins) and destroy the unbelievers.

3/Al-i'Imran-142: Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannata walamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoo minkum wayaAAlama alssabireena
Did you suppose that you would enter the Garden (Paradise) before Allah had tested (known) those of you who really strived and (also) tested those who are the patient?

3/Al-i'Imran-143: Walaqad kuntum tamannawna almawta min qabli an talqawhu faqad raaytumoohu waantum tanthuroona
You did indeed wish for death (martyrdom) before you met it. Now you have seen it openly and you looked at it (dying as martyrs).

3/Al-i'Imran-144: Wama muhammadun illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afain mata aw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum waman yanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allaha shayan wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena
Muhammad (PBBH) is no more then a Messenger, and (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as unbelievers)? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least; and Allah will reward the grateful.

3/Al-i'Imran-145: Wama kana linafsin an tamoota illa biithni Allahi kitaban muajjalan waman yurid thawaba alddunya nutihi minha waman yurid thawaba alakhirati nutihi minha wasanajzee alshshakireena
No soul dies except by Allah’s Leave and at an appointed (fixed) term; and whoever desires the reward of this world, I shall give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, I shall give him of it; and I will reward the grateful.

3/Al-i'Imran-146: Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatala maAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahum fee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wama istakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena
And how many a prophet has fought and along with him (fought) large bands of religious learned men (Ribbiyyûn=saint guides possessing knowledge and insight and devoted to their Lord).

3/Al-i'Imran-147: Wama kana qawlahum illa an qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobana waisrafana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena
And their saying was no other than that they said: Our Lord! forgive us our faults (sins) and our extravagance in our affair, and make firm our feet and help us against the disbelieving people.

3/Al-i'Imran-148: Faatahumu Allahu thawaba alddunya wahusna thawabi alakhirati waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena
So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the Hereafter and Allah loves the good-doers (Muhsinûn).

3/Al-i'Imran-149: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tuteeAAoo allatheena kafaroo yaruddookum AAala aAAqabikum fatanqaliboo khasireena
O you who believe (are âmenû)! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back upon your heels, and you will turn back (from your Faith) as losers.

3/Al-i'Imran-150: Bali Allahu mawlakum wahuwa khayru alnnasireena
Nay! Allah is your Protector (Maulâ=Patron, Helper, Befriender…) and He is the Best of helpers.

3/Al-i'Imran-151: Sanulqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba bima ashrakoo biAllahi ma lam yunazzil bihi sultanan wamawahumu alnnaru wabisa mathwa alththalimeena
We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority (warrant, sultan…). Their abode is the Fire and (how) evil is the abode of the wrong-doers (polytheists).

3/Al-i'Imran-152: Walaqad sadaqakumu Allahu waAAdahu ith tahussoonahum biithnihi hatta itha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee alamri waAAasaytum min baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboona minkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedu alakhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakum walaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoo fadlin AAala almumineena
And Allah did indeed fulfil His Promise to you when you were killing them (your enemy) with His Permission; until (the moment) you lost your courage (until when you became weak-hearted) and fell to disputing about the affair (order) and you disobeyed after He showed you which you love (the victory); of you were some who desired this world (ran to the spoils) and of you were some who desired the Hereafter (they remained in their places until they became martyrs); then He turned you away from them that He might try you (you turned back being defeated) and He has certainly pardoned you (in spite of this) and Allah is Most Gracious to the believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-153: Ith tusAAidoona wala talwoona AAala ahadin waalrrasoolu yadAAookum fee okhrakum faathabakum ghamman bighammin likayla tahzanoo AAala ma fatakum wala ma asabakum waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona
(And remember) when you ran off precipitately (by climbing the hill) without even casting a side glance at anyone and the Messenger (of Allah) was calling you from your rear, so grief after grief befell you, so that you might not grieve for what you missed (victory, spoils) or what befell you (disasters, misfortunes). And Allah is Well-Aware of all that you do.

3/Al-i'Imran-154: Thumma anzala AAalaykum min baAAdi alghammi amanatan nuAAasan yaghsha taifatan minkum wataifatun qad ahammathum anfusuhum yathunnoona biAllahi ghayra alhaqqi thanna aljahiliyyati yaqooloona hal lana mina alamri min shayin qul inna alamra kullahu lillahi yukhfoona fee anfusihim ma la yubdoona laka yaqooloona law kana lana mina alamri shayon ma qutilna hahuna qul law kuntum fee buyootikum labaraza allatheena kutiba AAalayhimu alqatlu ila madajiAAihim waliyabtaliya Allahu ma fee sudoorikum waliyumahhisa ma fee quloobikum waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori
Then after the distress (sorrow) He sent down security upon you. Slumber overtook a party of you, while another party was thinking about themselves (was falling into the fear of death) and thought wrongly of Allah, the thought (suspicion) of Ignorance. They said: Have we any part in this affair? Say: Surely the affair is wholly (in the Hand) of Allah. They hide within themselves (their souls) what they would not reveal to you. They say: If we had anything to do with the affair (a share), none of us would have been killed here. Say: Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death, but that Allah might test what is in your breasts; and purge what was in your hearts (from doubt); and Allah knows what is in the (your) breasts.

3/Al-i'Imran-155: Inna allatheena tawallaw minkum yawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumu alshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboo walaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allaha ghafoorun haleemun
(As for) those of you who turned back on the day when the two hosts (armies) met (i.e. the battle of Uhud), it was Satan who sought to cause them to backslide (fall into abasement) because of some of that which they have earned (such as: not to obey the orders of the Messenger and to run to the spoils). But Allah, indeed, has forgiven them. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.

3/Al-i'Imran-156: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqaloo liikhwanihim itha daraboo fee alardi aw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana ma matoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalika hasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyee wayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun
O you who believe (who are âmenû). Do not be like those who disbelieve and say of their brothers when they travel in the earth or go out to fight: Had they been with us, they would not have died or been killed, so that Allah may make it an intense regret in their hearts. It is Allah who gives life and causes death. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do.

3/Al-i'Imran-157: Walain qutiltum fee sabeeli Allahi aw muttum lamaghfiratun mina Allahi warahmatun khayrun mimma yajmaAAoona
And if you are killed or die in the Way of Allah, (there are absolutely) forgiveness and mercy from Allah (and these are) far better than all that they amass (of worldly wealth).

3/Al-i'Imran-158: Walain muttum aw qutiltum laila Allahi tuhsharoona
And whether you die or are killed, verily, unto Allah you shall be gathered.

3/Al-i'Imran-159: Fabima rahmatin mina Allahi linta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleetha alqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoAAfu AAanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee alamri faitha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahi inna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena
It was by the Mercy from Allah that you were lenient with them. Had you been rough and harsh-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you; pardon them therefore and ask forgiveness for them; and take counsel with them in the affair; then when you are resolved, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).

3/Al-i'Imran-160: In yansurkumu Allahu fala ghaliba lakum wain yakhthulkum faman tha allathee yansurukum min baAAdihi waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona
If Allah helps you, then there is none that can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can assist you? And in Allah (Alone) let the believers put their trust.

3/Al-i'Imran-161: Wama kana linabiyyin an yaghulla waman yaghlul yati bima ghalla yawma alqiyamati thumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona
It is not (thinkable) for any Prophet to take illegally a part of the booty and whoever deceives (his companions) as regards the booty, he shall bring forth (what he took secretly) on the Day of Resurrection. Then every soul (person) shall be paid back fully what he has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly (they shall not be wronged).

3/Al-i'Imran-162: Afamani ittabaAAa ridwana Allahi kaman baa bisakhatin mina Allahi wamawahu jahannamu wabisa almaseeru
Is then he who follows (seeks) the Pleasure of Allah like him who has made himself deserving of a Displeasure from Allah? And his abode is Hell; and it is an evil destination.

3/Al-i'Imran-163: Hum darajatun AAinda Allahi waAllahu baseerun bima yaAAmaloona
Their grades (the grades of those who follow the Pleasure of Allah) are with Allah and Allah is All-Seer of what they do.

3/Al-i'Imran-164: Laqad manna Allahu AAala almumineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihim yatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin
Certainly Allah confers a Blessing (the Spirit of the Imam of the Age) upon (the heads of) the believers when He sends in them a Messenger from among themselves. He reads (and explains) to them His Verses (Signs) and purifies them (their souls’ hearts) and teaches them the Book and Wisdom, while before that (before wishing to reach Allah) they were indeed in a manifest Misguidance.

3/Al-i'Imran-165: Awalamma asabatkum museebatun qad asabtum mithlayha qultum anna hatha qul huwa min AAindi anfusikum inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
When a disaster befell you after you had certainly inflicted (your enemies) with twice as much, you said: Whence is this? Say: It is from yourselves (your own souls); surely Allah has Power over all things.

3/Al-i'Imran-166: Wama asabakum yawma iltaqa aljamAAani fabiithni Allahi waliyaAAlama almumineena
And what befell you (adversity) on the day (of the battle of Uhud) when the two armies met, was by Allah’s Leave, in order that He might know (determine) the believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-167: WaliyaAAlama allatheena nafaqoo waqeela lahum taAAalaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahi awi idfaAAoo qaloo law naAAlamu qitalan laittabaAAnakum hum lilkufri yawmaithin aqrabu minhum lileemani yaqooloona biafwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim waAllahu aAAlamu bima yaktumoona
And that He might know (determine) the hypocrites; and it was said to them: Come, fight in the Way of Allah, or defend yourselves. They said: If we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you. They were on that day (of permission) much nearer to unbelief than to belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts; and Allah best knows what they conceal.

3/Al-i'Imran-168: Allatheena qaloo liikhwanihim waqaAAadoo law ataAAoona ma qutiloo qul faidraoo AAan anfusikumu almawta in kuntum sadiqeena
Those who said of their brothers (who were fighting in the Way of Allah) while they sat (at home) (whereas they were not going to fight): If they had obeyed us, they would not been killed. Say (to them): Avert death from yourselves, if you are truthful (in your saying).

3/Al-i'Imran-169: Wala tahsabanna allatheena qutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaon AAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona
And do not reckon those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead; nay, they are alive (and are provided sustenance from their Lord.

3/Al-i'Imran-170: Fariheena bima atahumu Allahu min fadlihi wayastabshiroona biallatheena lam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim alla khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona
Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Grace [(the light of) Virtue] and they wish to give glad tidings to those who have not joined them but are left behind (those who did not yet become martyrs): that there shall be no fear for them neither shall they grieve.

3/Al-i'Imran-171: Yastabshiroona biniAAmatin mina Allahi wafadlin waanna Allaha la yudeeAAu ajra almumineena
They wish to give glad tidings of Blessing from Allah and a Bounty (Virtue) and that Allah will not waste the reward (wage) of the believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-172: Allatheena istajaboo lillahi waalrrasooli min baAAdi ma asabahumu alqarhu lillatheena ahsanoo minhum waittaqaw ajrun AAatheemun
(As for) those who responded (at Uhud) to the call of Allah and the Messenger after the wound had befallen them, for those of them who are the best ones (who fulfilled all the Orders of Allah and did not commit all that He has forbidden) and attained to the greatest piety (azîm takwâ) there is the greatest reward (ecrun azîm).

3/Al-i'Imran-173: Allatheena qala lahumu alnnasu inna alnnasa qad jamaAAoo lakum faikhshawhum fazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbuna Allahu waniAAma alwakeelu
Those (the best ones) to whom the people said: Surely the men have gathered against you (in order to attack you), therefore fear them, but this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Protector (Deputy).

3/Al-i'Imran-174: Fainqalaboo biniAAmatin mina Allahi wafadlin lam yamsashum sooon waittabaAAoo ridwana Allahi waAllahu thoo fadlin AAatheemin
So they returned with a Blessing from Allah and a Bounty; no evil touched them and they followed the Pleasure of Allah; and Allah is the Owner of the Greatest Bounty [(the light of) Virtue].

3/Al-i'Imran-175: Innama thalikumu alshshaytanu yukhawwifu awliyaahu fala takhafoohum wakhafooni in kuntum mumineena
Satan causes only his friends (those who take him for friends) to fear. So do not fear them and fear Me (Alone) if you are believers.

3/Al-i'Imran-176: Wala yahzunka allatheena yusariAAoona fee alkufri innahum lan yadurroo Allaha shayan yureedu Allahu alla yajAAala lahum haththan fee alakhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheemun
And let not those grieve you who fall into unbelief hastily; surely they can do no harm to Allah at all; Allah wills that He should not give them any portion in the Hereafter, and for them there is a great torment.

3/Al-i'Imran-177: Inna allatheena ishtarawoo alkufra bialeemani lan yadurroo Allaha shayan walahum AAathabun aleemun
Surely those who barter away their faith for disbelief shall do no harm at all to Allah, and for them there is a painful torment (punishment).

3/Al-i'Imran-178: Wala yahsabanna allatheena kafaroo annama numlee lahum khayrun lianfusihim innama numlee lahum liyazdadoo ithman walahum AAathabun muheenun
And let not those who disbelieve reckon that We prolong their time for the good of their own souls. We only give them respite that they may grow in sinfulness and for them is a disgracing torment.

3/Al-i'Imran-179: Ma kana Allahu liyathara almumineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hatta yameeza alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wama kana Allahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinna Allaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoo biAllahi warusulihi wain tuminoo watattaqoo falakum ajrun AAatheemun
Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now (in the state in which the believers and the ones who seem to be believers are together) until He separates the evil (the ones who seem to be believers) from the good (the believers); nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the Unseen, but Allah chooses of His Messengers whom He wills (He makes him acquainted with the Unseen); therefore believe in Allah and His Messengers; and if you believe (if you become âmenû) and have piety, then for you is the Greatest Reward (Wage).

3/Al-i'Imran-180: Wala yahsabanna allatheena yabkhaloona bima atahummu Allahu min fadlihi huwa khayran lahum bal huwa sharrun lahum sayutawwaqoona ma bakhiloo bihi yawma alqiyamati walillahi meerathu alssamawati waalardi waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun
And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His Bounty (Virtue), that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; what they covetously withheld shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection; and Allah’s is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Well-Acquainted with all that you do.

3/Al-i'Imran-181: Laqad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatheena qaloo inna Allaha faqeerun wanahnu aghniyaon sanaktubu ma qaloo waqatlahumu alanbiyaa bighayri haqqin wanaqoolu thooqoo AAathaba alhareeqi
Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: Surely Allah is poor and we are rich. We shall certainly write down their saying and their killing the prophets unjustly and We shall say: Taste now the torment of the Blaze [of the Burning (Fire)].

3/Al-i'Imran-182: Thalika bima qaddamat aydeekum waanna Allaha laysa bithallamin lilAAabeedi
This (torment) is for what your own hands have sent before (you) and because Allah is not in the least unjust to the (His) servants.

3/Al-i'Imran-183: Allatheena qaloo inna Allaha AAahida ilayna alla numina lirasoolin hatta yatiyana biqurbanin takuluhu alnnaru qul qad jaakum rusulun min qablee bialbayyinati wabiallathee qultum falima qataltumoohum in kutum sadiqeena
(those are they) who said: Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any Messenger until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes. Say: Indeed, there came to you Messengers before me with the clear arguments and with that which you demand (say); why then did you kill them if you are truthful?

3/Al-i'Imran-184: Fain kaththabooka faqad kuththiba rusulun min qablika jaoo bialbayyinati waalzzuburi waalkitabi almuneeri
Then if they reject (deny) you (do not grieve), so were Messengers rejected before you, who came with the clear arguments (evidences) and written pages and the Illuminating Book.

3/Al-i'Imran-185: Kullu nafsin thaiqatu almawti wainnama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamati faman zuhziha AAani alnnari waodkhila aljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu alddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori
Every soul shall taste death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward (wage) on the Day of Resurrection; then whoever is removed far away from the Fire (of Hell) and is made to enter the Garden (Paradise), he indeed attained to the object (i.e. the Bliss in the Hereafter and happiness in the worldly life); and the life of this world is nothing but a provision of vanities (enjoyment of deception).

3/Al-i'Imran-186: Latublawunna fee amwalikum waanfusikum walatasmaAAunna mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum wamina allatheena ashrakoo athan katheeran wain tasbiroo watattaqoo fainna thalika min AAazmi alomoori
You shall certainly be tried (and tested) in your possessions and in your own souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are associators (polytheists) much annoying talk; and if you remain patient and have piety (takwâ); then verily, this is one of the affair (which should be) determined upon.

3/Al-i'Imran-187: Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa allatheena ootoo alkitaba latubayyinunnahu lilnnasi wala taktumoonahu fanabathoohu waraa thuhoorihim waishtaraw bihi thamanan qaleelan fabisa ma yashtaroona
And (remember) when Allah took a covenant from those who had been given the Book: You shall certainly make it known to the men and you shall not hide it; but they cast it (the covenant) behind their backs and took a small price for it; so evil is that which they purchased.

3/Al-i'Imran-188: La tahsabanna allatheena yafrahoona bima ataw wayuhibboona an yuhmadoo bima lam yafAAaloo fala tahsabannahum bimafazatin mina alAAathabi walahum AAathabun aleemun
Do not reckon that those (of the People of the Book, saying it is from the Book) who rejoice for what they have brought (for what they have done by hiding the truth and not explaining it) and love that they should be praised for what they have not done-so do by no means think them to be safe from the torment and for them there is a painful torment.

3/Al-i'Imran-189: Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi waAllahu AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
And Allah’s is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and Allah is Powerful over all things.

3/Al-i'Imran-190: Inna fee khalqi alssamawati waalardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari laayatin liolee alalbabi
Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are absolutely Signs for Ûli’l elbâb (those who are the owners of the innermost secret treasuries of Allah because of their attaining to a continuous remembrance of Allah).

3/Al-i'Imran-191: Allatheena yathkuroona Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihim wayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waalardi rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina AAathaba alnnari
Those who remember (repeat the Name of) Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth. Our Lord! You have not created (all) this in vain, Glory be to You; Protect us then from the torment of the Fire!

3/Al-i'Imran-192: Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnara faqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeena min ansarin
Our Lord! Surely whomsoever You makes enter the Fire, You have brought him to disgrace and for the wrong-doers there are any of the helpers.

3/Al-i'Imran-193: Rabbana innana samiAAna munadiyan yunadee lileemani an aminoo birabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfir lana thunoobana wakaffir AAanna sayyiatina watawaffana maAAa alabrari
Our Lord! We have heard a caller calling to the Faith (saying): Believe in your Lord, so we did believe; our Lord! forgive us therefore our faults (sins) and cover our evil deeds (and remit from us our evil deeds) and make us die (take our souls in death) along with Al-Abrâr (who do Al-Birr, who are worthy of Paradise).

3/Al-i'Imran-194: Rabbana waatina ma waAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzina yawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada
Our Lord! And grant us what You did promise to us through Your Messengers, and do not abase us on the Day of Resurrection. You never break (Your) Promise.

3/Al-i'Imran-195: Faistajaba lahum rabbuhum annee la odeeAAu AAamala AAamilin minkum min thakarin aw ontha baAAdukum min baAAdin faallatheena hajaroo waokhrijoo min diyarihim waoothoo fee sabeelee waqataloo waqutiloo laokaffiranna AAanhum sayyiatihim walaodkhilannahum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu thawaban min AAindi Allahi waAllahu AAindahu husnu alththawabi
So their Lord responded to them (to their prayers): (He said so): Never will I allow to be lost the work of a worker of you, whether male or female, the one of you being from the other; they, therefore, who emigrated, and were driven out of their homes, and suffered harm in My Way, and fought and were killed, assuredly, I will cover (remit from them) their evil deeds, and I will most certainly make them enter Gardens beneath which the rivers flow; a Reward from Allah; and Allah is with Him the Best of rewards.

3/Al-i'Imran-196: La yaghurrannaka taqallubu allatheena kafaroo fee albiladi
Let it not deceive (beguile) you that those who disbelieve go to and fro in the cities in stiff pompous way.

3/Al-i'Imran-197: MataAAun qaleelun thumma mawahum jahannamu wabisa almihadu
(This is) a brief enjoyment! then their abode is Hell, and evil is the resting-place (bed).

3/Al-i'Imran-198: Lakini allatheena ittaqaw rabbahum lahum jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha nuzulan min AAindi Allahi wama AAinda Allahi khayrun lilabrari
But as to those who have piety (takwâ) towards their Lord [who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord] for them are Gardens beneath which the rivers flow, abiding in them forever. A gift of welcome from their Lord. And that which is with Allah is best for Al-Abrâr.

3/Al-i'Imran-199: Wainna min ahli alkitabi laman yuminu biAllahi wama onzila ilaykum wama onzila ilayhim khashiAAeena lillahi la yashtaroona biayati Allahi thamanan qaleelan olaika lahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihim inna Allaha sareeAAu alhisabi
And most surely of the People of the Book there are those who believe in Allah and (in) that which has been sent down to you, and in that which had been sent down to them, humbling themselves before Allah (feeling a fear mixed with deep respect for Allah); they do not take a small price for the Verses (Signs) of Allah; Verily, their reward is in the Presence of their Lord (with their Lord) and Allah is Swift in reckoning.

3/Al-i'Imran-200: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo isbiroo wasabiroo warabitoo waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tuflihoona
O you who believe (those who wish to make their spirits reach Allah before dying) be patient and excel in patience (be the owners of Patience) and establish a connection [with the saint guide and (or) Allah] (or guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, be ready) and have piety towards Allah, so that you may attain to Salvation (you may succeed).
