Sura List » Al-Ahzab

33/Al-Ahzab-1: Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu ittaqi Allaha wala tutiAAi alkafireena waalmunafiqeena inna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman
O Prophet! Be the owner of piety (be careful of your duty to) towards Allah and do not obey (comply with) the disbelievers and the hypocrites; surely Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise (the Owner of Wisdom and Judgement).

33/Al-Ahzab-2: WaittabiAA ma yooha ilayka min rabbika inna Allaha kana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran
And follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; surely Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

33/Al-Ahzab-3: Watawakkal AAala Allahi wakafa biAllahi wakeelan
And put your trust in Allah; and Allah is Sufficient as a Trustee.

33/Al-Ahzab-4: Ma jaAAala Allahu lirajulin min qalbayni fee jawfihi wama jaAAala azwajakumu allaee tuthahiroona minhunna ommahatikum wama jaAAala adAAiyaakum abnaakum thalikum qawlukum biafwahikum waAllahu yaqoolu alhaqqa wahuwa yahdee alssabeela
Allah has not made for any man two hearts within him; nor has He made your wives whose backs you liken to the backs of your mothers as your mothers (and claiming this, you want to divorce from her), nor has He made your adopted sons Your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. And Allah speaks the truth, and He guides to the Way (leading to Himself).

33/Al-Ahzab-5: OdAAoohum liabaihim huwa aqsatu AAinda Allahi fain lam taAAlamoo abaahum faikhwanukum fee alddeeni wamawaleekum walaysa AAalaykum junahun feema akhtatum bihi walakin ma taAAammadat quloobukum wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers; this is more equitable with Allah (in the Sight of Allah, in the Divine Presence), but if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brothers in faith and your friends; and there is no blame on you concerning that in which you made a mistake, but (concerning) that which your hearts do purposely, and Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving (the One Who changes evil deeds into rewards), Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful).

33/Al-Ahzab-6: Alnnabiyyu awla bialmumineena min anfusihim waazwajuhu ommahatuhum waoloo alarhami baAAduhum awla bibaAAdin fee kitabi Allahi mina almumineena waalmuhajireena illa an tafAAaloo ila awliyaikum maAAroofan kana thalika fee alkitabi mastooran
The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves (their own souls) [The Prophet has a greater claim on the believers than they have on themselves (their souls)] and his wives are (as) their mothers; and the owners of kinship are closer one to other in the Book of Allah than (other) believers and the Emigrants (from Makkah), except that you do good (kindness) to your friends; this is written in the Book, line by line.

33/Al-Ahzab-7: Waith akhathna mina alnnabiyyeena meethaqahum waminka wamin noohin waibraheema wamoosa waAAeesa ibni maryama waakhathna minhum meethaqan ghaleethan
And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their Covenants, and from you, and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, son of Mary. We took from them a strong (heavy) covenant.

33/Al-Ahzab-8: Liyasala alssadiqeena AAan sidqihim waaAAadda lilkafireena AAathaban aleeman
That He may question (ask) the truthful of their truth (loyalty) and He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful torment (punishment).

33/Al-Ahzab-9: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo othkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith jaatkum junoodun faarsalna AAalayhim reehan wajunoodan lam tarawha wakana Allahu bima taAAmaloona baseeran
O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before dying)! Remember Allah’s Blessing upon you when there came down upon you hosts, so We sent against them a strong wind and hosts (forces) that you did not see, and Allah is Ever All-Seer of what you do.

33/Al-Ahzab-10: Ith jaookum min fawqikum wamin asfala minkum waith zaghati alabsaru wabalaghati alquloobu alhanajira watathunnoona biAllahi alththunoona
When they came upon you from above and from below you, and when the eyes turned dull (grew wild) and the hearts rose up to the throats (when they have their hearts in their mouths) and you were harboring doubts about Allah (you were imagining vain thoughts concerning Allah).

33/Al-Ahzab-11: Hunalika ibtuliya almuminoona wazulziloo zilzalan shadeedan
There, the believers were tried and shaken with a mighty shaking.

33/Al-Ahzab-12: Waith yaqoolu almunafiqoona waallatheena fee quloobihim maradun ma waAAadana Allahu warasooluhu illa ghurooran
And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was a disease were saying: Allah and His Messenger did not promise us nothing but vain hope (delusion, deception).

33/Al-Ahzab-13: Waith qalat taifatun minhum ya ahla yathriba la muqama lakum fairjiAAoo wayastathinu fareequn minhumu alnnabiyya yaqooloona inna buyootana AAawratun wama hiya biAAawratin in yureedoona illa firaran
And when a party of them said: O people of Yathrib(Al-Madinah) ! There is no place to stand for you (here), therefore turn back; and a party of them asked permission of the Prophet, saying; Surely our houses lie open (to the enemy); and they lay not open (they were not exposed); they but wished to flee.

33/Al-Ahzab-14: Walaw dukhilat AAalayhim min aqtariha thumma suiloo alfitnata laatawha wama talabbathoo biha illa yaseeran
And if an entry were made upon them from the outlying parts of it (the city), and they had then been asked (to cause) Al-Fitnah (disorder, trouble, confusion), they would absolutely have come to it [to (cause) trouble, Al-Fıtnah] and they would not have stayed in it but little.

33/Al-Ahzab-15: Walaqad kanoo AAahadoo Allaha min qablu la yuwalloona aladbara wakana AAahdu Allahi masoolan
And certainly they had made a covenant with Allah before not to turn their backs and a covenant with Allah must be answered for (is a responsibility).

33/Al-Ahzab-16: Qul lan yanfaAAakumu alfiraru in farartum mina almawti awi alqatli waithan la tumattaAAoona illa qaleelan
Fleeing will not avail you if you flee from death or killing, and then you will not be allowed to enjoy your-selves but a little while.

33/Al-Ahzab-17: Qul man tha allathee yaAAsimukum mina Allahi in arada bikum sooan aw arada bikum rahmatan wala yajidoona lahum min dooni Allahi waliyyan wala naseeran
Say: who is he who can preserve (withhold) you from Allah if He intends to harm you (to do you evil), or intends mercy on you? They will not find any friend or helper other than Allah.

33/Al-Ahzab-18: Qad yaAAlamu Allahu almuAAawwiqeena minkum waalqaileena liikhwanihim halumma ilayna wala yatoona albasa illa qaleelan
Allah knows indeed those among you who hinder (the help to the Prophet) and those who say to their brethren: come to us; they do not come to the fight but a little.

33/Al-Ahzab-19: Ashihhatan AAalaykum faitha jaa alkhawfu raaytahum yanthuroona ilayka tadooru aAAyunuhum kaallathee yughsha AAalayhi mina almawti faitha thahaba alkhawfu salaqookum bialsinatin hidadin ashihhatan AAala alkhayri olaika lam yuminoo faahbata Allahu aAAmalahum wakana thalika AAala Allahi yaseeran
Being niggardly with respect to you (they are miserly towards you); but when fear comes, then you see them looking to you, their eyes rolling like one fainting because of death; but when fear is gone, they smite you with sharp tongues (with injuring words), niggardly towards (spending anything in any) good (and covetous of booty and wealth). These have not believed, therefore Allah has made their deeds vain (null, fruitless) and that is ever easy to Allah.

33/Al-Ahzab-20: Yahsaboona alahzaba lam yathhaboo wain yati alahzabu yawaddoo law annahum badoona fee alaAArabi yasaloona AAan anbaikum walaw kanoo feekum ma qataloo illa qaleelan
They reckon that the allies are not gone and if the allies (the Confederates) should come (again), they would wish that they were in the deserts with the desert Arabs asking for news about you, and if they were among you, they would not light but a little.

33/Al-Ahzab-21: Laqad kana lakum fee rasooli Allahi oswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allaha waalyawma alakhira wathakara Allaha katheeran
Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes for Allah and the Last Day (the day of reaching Allah before dying) and remember (repeat the Name of) Allah much.

33/Al-Ahzab-22: Walamma raa almuminoona alahzaba qaloo hatha ma waAAadana Allahu warasooluhu wasadaqa Allahu warasooluhu wama zadahum illa eemanan watasleeman
And when the believers saw Al-Ahzâb (the Allies, the Confederates), they said: This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth; and this only increased them in Faith and Submission (to Allah).

33/Al-Ahzab-23: Mina almumineena rijalun sadaqoo ma AAahadoo Allaha AAalayhi faminhum man qada nahbahu waminhum man yantathiru wama baddaloo tabdeelan
Of the believers are men who have been true to the covenant which they made with Allah (they remained loyal to their promise given to Allah concerning this, that they would show resolution until they would become martyrs): so of them is he who accomplished his vow (he died a martyr), and of them is he who yet awaits (being a martyr) and they have not changed (anything from their vows) in the least.

33/Al-Ahzab-24: Liyajziya Allahu alssadiqeena bisidqihim wayuAAaththiba almunafiqeena in shaa aw yatooba AAalayhim inna Allaha kana ghafooran raheeman
That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth, and torment (punish) the hypocrites, if He wills, or turn to them (in repentance; accept their repentance); surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving (the One who changes evil deeds into rewards), Most Merciful (the one Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful)

33/Al-Ahzab-25: Waradda Allahu allatheena kafaroo bighaythihim lam yanaloo khayran wakafa Allahu almumineena alqitala wakana Allahu qawiyyan AAazeezan
And Allah turned back the disbelievers in their rage; they did not obtain any advantage (any good) [they were not be able to defeat the believers] and Allah sufficed the believers in the fighting (by making them overcome the disbelievers, by sending against the disbelievers a severe wind and troops of angels). And Allah is Ever All-Strong, All-Mighty.

33/Al-Ahzab-26: Waanzala allatheena thaharoohum min ahli alkitabi min sayaseehim waqathafa fee quloobihimu alrruAAba fareeqan taqtuloona watasiroona fareeqan
And He drove down those of the People the Book who backed them (the disbelievers) from their fortresses and He cast terror into their hearts; (so that) a group (of them) you killed and a group (of them) you made captives.

33/Al-Ahzab-27: Waawrathakum ardahum wadiyarahum waamwalahum waardan lam tataooha wakana Allahu AAala kulli shayin qadeeran
And He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and (to) a land which you have not yet trodden and Allah has Power over all things.

33/Al-Ahzab-28: Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu qul liazwajika in kuntunna turidna alhayata alddunya wazeenataha fataAAalayna omattiAAkunna waosarrihkunna sarahan jameelan
O prophet! Say to your wives: If you desire the life of this world and its adornment (glitter), then come, I will give you a provision (I will give you your Mahr) and set you free in a handsome manner (divorce) [I will release you with a fair release]

33/Al-Ahzab-29: Wain kuntunna turidna Allaha warasoolahu waalddara alakhirata fainna Allaha aAAadda lilmuhsinati minkunna ajran AAatheeman
And if you desire Allah and His Messenger and the Abode of the Hereafter, then surely Allah has prepared for the good-doers among you a mighty reward (an immense wage)

33/Al-Ahzab-30: Ya nisaa alnnabiyyi man yati minkunna bifahishatin mubayyinatin yudaAAaf laha alAAathabu diAAfayni wakana thalika AAala Allahi yaseeran
O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you commits an open indecency (comes with an open indecency) the torment (punishment) shall be increased to her doubly; and this is ever easy for Allah.

33/Al-Ahzab-31: Waman yaqnut minkunna lillahi warasoolihi wataAAmal salihan nutiha ajraha marratayni waaAAtadna laha rizqan kareeman
And whoever of you is obedient (devoted with awe) to Allah and His Messenger and does improving deeds (does the soul’s purification), We will give to her reward doubly, and We have prepared for her an honorable (generous) sustenance.

33/Al-Ahzab-32: Ya nisaa alnnabiyyi lastunna kaahadin mina alnnisai ini ittaqaytunna fala takhdaAAna bialqawli fayatmaAAa allathee fee qalbihi maradun waqulna qawlan maAAroofan
O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other of the women; if you are the owners of piety (if you keep your duty to Allah), then be not soft in (your) speech, (do not speak with men temptingly, lest he in whose heart is a disease (temptation, concupiscence) aspires (to you), but speak a sedate word.

33/Al-Ahzab-33: Waqarna fee buyootikunna wala tabarrajna tabarruja aljahiliyyati aloola waaqimna alssalata waateena alzzakata waatiAAna Allaha warasoolahu innama yureedu Allahu liyuthhiba AAankumu alrrijsa ahla albayti wayutahhirakum tatheeran
And stay in your houses (sedately) and do not bedizen yourselves with the bedizenment of the former Time of Ignorance; and keep up the Prayer(s) and pay the poor-rate (give Zakat), and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah only wishes to keep away the uncleanness (Ar-Rijs) from you, O people of the House (of the prophet)! and to cleanse you with a thorough cleansing.

33/Al-Ahzab-34: Waothkurna ma yutla fee buyootikunna min ayati Allahi waalhikmati inna Allaha kana lateefan khabeeran
And keep to mind (remember) what is recited (read and explained) in your houses of the Verses of Allah and the wisdom; surely Allah is All- Subtle (Knower of subtleties, the Owner of all kinds of Bounties), All-Aware.

33/Al-Ahzab-35: Inna almuslimeena waalmuslimati waalmumineena waalmuminati waalqaniteena waalqanitati waalssadiqeena waalssadiqati waalssabireena waalssabirati waalkhashiAAeena waalkhashiAAati waalmutasaddiqeena waalmutasaddiqati waalssaimeena waalssaimati waalhafitheena furoojahum waalhafithati waalththakireena Allaha katheeran waalththakirati aAAadda Allahu lahum maghfiratan waajran AAatheeman
Surely the men who submit (to Allah) and the women who submit (to Allah) and the believing men and the believing women, the obedient men (devoted to Allah with awe) and the obedient women, the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women, the humble men (in awe of Allah) and the humble women (in awe of Allah), and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women and the fasting men and the fasting women and the men who guard their chastity (from illegal sexual acts) and the women who guard their chastity and the men who remember (repeat the Name of) Allah much and the women who remember (much)-Allah has prepared for them Forgiveness and a Great Reward.

33/Al-Ahzab-36: Wama kana limuminin wala muminatin itha qada Allahu warasooluhu amran an yakoona lahumu alkhiyaratu min amrihim waman yaAAsi Allaha warasoolahu faqad dalla dalalan mubeenan
And it is not for a believing man or a believing woman to have any choice (option) in their affair when Allah and His Messenger have decided an affair for them; and whoever is rebellious to (disobeys) Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain Misguidance.

33/Al-Ahzab-37: Waith taqoolu lillathee anAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalayka zawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika ma Allahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahu ahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qada zaydun minha wataran zawwajnakaha likay la yakoona AAala almumineena harajun fee azwaji adAAiyaihim itha qadaw minhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan
And (remember) when you said to him (Zaid bin Hârithah, the freed-slave of the Prophet) on whom Allah has bestowed Blessings and you have done favor (by manumitting him): Keep your wife to yourself and have piety towards Allah. But you did hide in yourself that which Allah will make manifest, you did fear the people whereas Allah had a better right that you should fear Him. So when Zaid had accomplished his desire from her (so when Zaid had broken off his relation with her, divorced her), We gave her to you in marriage, so that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the believers in respect of (the marriage of) the wives of their adopted sons when the latter have no desire to keep them (they have divorced them). And Allah’s Command must be fulfilled (Thus, Allah’s Command has been fulfilled).

33/Al-Ahzab-38: Ma kana AAala alnnabiyyi min harajin feema farada Allahu lahu sunnata Allahi fee allatheena khalaw min qablu wakana amru Allahi qadaran maqdooran
There is no reproach (difficulty) for the Prophet in (fulfilling) what Allah has ordained for him; That has been the Course of Allah [Sunnetallah = the constant rules (laws) that work in the Universe] with respect to those who have gone before: and the Command of Allah is certain destiny (a Decree that is made absolute, determined).

33/Al-Ahzab-39: Allatheena yuballighoona risalati Allahi wayakhshawnahu wala yakhshawna ahadan illa Allaha wakafa biAllahi haseeban
They (the Prophets) convey (deliver) the Messages of Allah and are in awe of Him, and are not in awe of any but of Allah. And Allah is Sufficient as a Reckoner.

33/Al-Ahzab-40: Ma kana muhammadun aba ahadin min rijalikum walakin rasoola Allahi wakhatama alnnabiyyeena wakana Allahu bikulli shayin AAaleeman
Muhammed is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal (the Last) of the Prophets; and Allah is Ever All-Knower of all things.

33/Al-Ahzab-41: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo othkuroo Allaha thikran katheeran
O you who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are living)! Remember (repeat the Name of) Allah (that is a code) with much remembrance (more than half of the day). (42) And glorify Him morning and evening.

33/Al-Ahzab-42: Wasabbihoohu bukratan waaseelan
And glorify Him morning and evening.

33/Al-Ahzab-43: Huwa allathee yusallee AAalaykum wamalaikatuhu liyukhrijakum mina alththulumati ila alnnoori wakana bialmumineena raheeman
He it is Who sends (the light) (by means of) benedictions on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you (your soul’s heart) forth out of utter darkness into the light, and He is Most Merciful to the believers (He manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful over them).

33/Al-Ahzab-44: Tahiyyatuhum yawma yalqawnahu salamun waaAAadda lahum ajran kareeman
Their greeting (salutation) on the Day when they shall meet Him will be: Peace and He has prepared for them an honorable (generous) reward.

33/Al-Ahzab-45: Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu inna arsalnaka shahidan wamubashshiran wanatheeran
O Prohet! Surely We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner.

33/Al-Ahzab-46: WadaAAiyan ila Allahi biithnihi wasirajan muneeran
And as one inviting to Allah by His Permission and as a light-giving lamp (torch).

33/Al-Ahzab-47: Wabashshiri almumineena bianna lahum mina Allahi fadlan kabeeran
And give to the believers the glad tidings that there is for them from Allah a great Bounty [Grace,(the light of) Virtue]

33/Al-Ahzab-48: Wala tutiAAi alkafireena waalmunafiqeena wadaAA athahum watawakkal AAala Allahi wakafa biAllahi wakeelan
And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and leave unregarded their annoyances and put your trust in Allah; and Allah is Sufficient as a Trustee (Disposer of affairs)

33/Al-Ahzab-49: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha nakahtumu almuminati thumma tallaqtumoohunna min qabli an tamassoohunna fama lakum AAalayhinna min AAiddatin taAAtaddoonaha famattiAAoohunna wasarrihoohunna sarahan jameelan
O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive)! When you marry the believing women, then divorce them before you touch them (before you have sexual intercourse with them) you have in their case no term (divorce prescribed period, ‘lddah) which you should reckon; so make some provision for them and release them (divorce them) with a fair release.

33/Al-Ahzab-50: Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu inna ahlalna laka azwajaka allatee atayta ojoorahunna wama malakat yameenuka mimma afaa Allahu AAalayka wabanati AAammika wabanati AAammatika wabanati khalika wabanati khalatika allatee hajarna maAAaka waimraatan muminatan in wahabat nafsaha lilnnabiyyi in arada alnnabiyyu an yastankihaha khalisatan laka min dooni almumineena qad AAalimna ma faradna AAalayhim fee azwajihim wama malakat aymanuhum likayla yakoona AAalayka harajun wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
O Prophet! Surely We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have paid their “Mahr” (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) and those (slaves) whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as spoils of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who migrated (from Makkah) with you, and a believing woman if she offers herself to the Prophet, and the Prophet wishes to marry her, -(We made lawful) specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers; We know what We have enjoined upon them about their wives and those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, in order that there should be no difficulty on you. Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful).

33/Al-Ahzab-51: Turjee man tashao minhunna watuwee ilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman AAazalta fala junaha AAalayka thalika adna an taqarra aAAyunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bima ataytahunna kulluhunna waAllahu yaAAlamu ma fee quloobikum wakana Allahu AAaleeman haleeman
You may put off whom you please of them, and you may take to you whom you please, and whom you desire of those whom you had separated provisionally; no blame attaches to you; this is most proper, so that their eyes may be cool, and they may not grieve, and they should be pleased, all of them, with what you give them, and Allah knows what is in your hearts; and Allah is Ever All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

33/Al-Ahzab-52: La yahillu laka alnnisao min baAAdu wala an tabaddala bihinna min azwajin walaw aAAjabaka husnuhunna illa ma malakat yameenuka wakana Allahu AAala kulli shayin raqeeban
It is not lawful for you (to marry other) women after this, nor change them for other wives even though their beauty pleased you, except those (slaves) whom your right hand possesses; and Allah is Watcher over all things.

33/Al-Ahzab-53: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tadkhuloo buyoota alnnabiyyi illa an yuthana lakum ila taAAamin ghayra nathireena inahu walakin itha duAAeetum faodkhuloo faitha taAAimtum faintashiroo wala mustaniseena lihadeethin inna thalikum kana yuthee alnnabiyya fayastahyee minkum waAllahu la yastahyee mina alhaqqi waitha saaltumoohunna mataAAan faisaloohunna min warai hijabin thalikum atharu liquloobikum waquloobihinna wama kana lakum an tuthoo rasoola Allahi wala an tankihoo azwajahu min baAAdihi abadan inna thalikum kana AAinda Allahi AAatheeman
O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are living)! Do not enter the Prophet’s houses unless permission is given to you for a meal, (if you have entered them) not waiting for its cooking being finished. But when you are invited, enter, and when you have taken the food, then disperse. Do not linger for conversation; surely this would cause annoyance to the prophet and he would be shy of (asking) you (to go) but Allah is not shy of (telling you) the truth. And when you ask of them (the wives of the Prophet) any goods, ask of them from behind a curtain (a screen); this is purer for your hearts and (for) their hearts; And it is not (right) for you that you should give trouble (annoyance) to the Messenger of Allah, nor that you should marry his wives after him ever; surely this is an enormity in the Sight of Allah.

33/Al-Ahzab-54: In tubdoo shayan aw tukhfoohu fainna Allaha kana bikulli shayin AAaleeman
Whether you divulge a thing or keep it hidden, surely Allah is Ever All-Knower of all things.

33/Al-Ahzab-55: La junaha AAalayhinna fee abaihinna wala abnaihinna wala ikhwanihinna wala abnai ikhwanihinna wala abnai akhawatihinna wala nisaihinna wala ma malakat aymanuhunna waittaqeena Allaha inna Allaha kana AAala kulli shayin shaheedan
There is no blame (sin) on them (the Prophet’s wives, if they appear unveiled) before their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their own women, or what their right hands possess (their slaves); and have piety towards Allah (feel the consciousness of responsibility towards Allah); Surely Allah is Ever All-Witness over everything.

33/Al-Ahzab-56: Inna Allaha wamalaikatahu yusalloona AAala alnnabiyyi ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo salloo AAalayhi wasallimoo tasleeman
Allah sends His Salâts (graces, Honors, Benedictions, Mercy) on the Prophet and His angels. O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before dying)! Ask (and send) Salâts on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation.

33/Al-Ahzab-57: Inna allatheena yuthoona Allaha warasoolahu laAAanahumu Allahu fee alddunya waalakhirati waaAAadda lahum AAathaban muheenan
Surely (as for) those who annoy (malign) Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and in the Hereafter and has prepared for them a humiliating torment.

33/Al-Ahzab-58: Waallatheena yuthoona almumineena waalmuminati bighayri ma iktasaboo faqadi ihtamaloo buhtanan waithman mubeenan
And those who annoy (malign) the believing men and the believing women without their having earned (it) [undeservedly, while they did not commit any offense (guilt)], they bear (on themselves) the crime of slander and plain sin.

33/Al-Ahzab-59: Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu qul liazwajika wabanatika wanisai almumineena yudneena AAalayhinna min jalabeebihinna thalika adna an yuAArafna fala yuthayna wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over garments (they wrap themselves up in their cloaks); this will be more proper, that they may be known (that they are not female slaves but that they are free and chaste women) and thus they will not be given trouble (annoyance); and Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

33/Al-Ahzab-60: Lain lam yantahi almunafiqoona waallatheena fee quloobihim maradun waalmurjifoona fee almadeenati lanughriyannaka bihim thumma la yujawiroonaka feeha illa qaleelan
If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and those who spread false news among the people in Al-Medinah (in the city) do not desist, We shall most certainly let you overpower them: then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbors but a little while.

33/Al-Ahzab-61: MalAAooneena aynama thuqifoo okhithoo waquttiloo taqteelan
The cursed ones (those who have undergone the curse): wherever they are found they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter.

33/Al-Ahzab-62: Sunnata Allahi fee allatheena khalaw min qablu walan tajida lisunnati Allahi tabdeelan
(Such has been) the Course (the Constant Rule of Allah (Sunnatullâh) with respect to those who passed away of old; and you shall not find any change in the Course (the Practice, the Constant Law) of Allah.

33/Al-Ahzab-63: Yasaluka alnnasu AAani alssaAAati qul innama AAilmuha AAinda Allahi wama yudreeka laAAalla alssaAAata takoonu qareeban
People ask you of the Hour (the Day of Resurrection) Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only, and what will make you comprehend? (It is not made known to you); It may be that the Hour is near.

33/Al-Ahzab-64: Inna Allaha laAAana alkafireena waaAAadda lahum saAAeeran
Surely Allah has cursed the disbelievers and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell)

33/Al-Ahzab-65: Khalideena feeha abadan la yajidoona waliyyan wala naseeran
To abide therein forever; they shall not find a protecting friend or a helper.

33/Al-Ahzab-66: Yawma tuqallabu wujoohuhum fee alnnari yaqooloona ya laytana ataAAna Allaha waataAAna alrrasoola
On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed the Messenger!

33/Al-Ahzab-67: Waqaloo rabbana inna ataAAna sadatana wakubaraana faadalloona alssabeela
And they say: Our Lord! We obeyed our notables (in the religion) and our great ones (in the administration) so they led us astray from the Way [from the Straight Path (leading to you)].

33/Al-Ahzab-68: Rabbana atihim diAAfayni mina alAAathabi wailAAanhum laAAnan kabeeran
Our Lord! Give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!

33/Al-Ahzab-69: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takoonoo kaallatheena athaw moosa fabarraahu Allahu mimma qaloo wakana AAinda Allahi wajeehan
O you who believe! (who are âmenû) Be not like those who annoyed (maligned) Moses, but Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard with Allah (in the Divine Presence)

33/Al-Ahzab-70: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha waqooloo qawlan sadeedan
O you who believe (who are âmenû). Be the owners of piety towards Allah and speak the right word (straight to the point)

33/Al-Ahzab-71: Yuslih lakum aAAmalakum wayaghfir lakum thunoobakum waman yutiAAi Allaha warasoolahu faqad faza fawzan AAatheeman
(So) let Him improve your deeds (let Him change them into improving deeds) and forgive you your faults (sins) (let Him change them into rewards); and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he indeed achieves a might success (he is saved with a greatest reward)

33/Al-Ahzab-72: Inna AAaradna alamanata AAala alssamawati waalardi waaljibali faabayna an yahmilnaha waashfaqna minha wahamalaha alinsanu innahu kana thalooman jahoolan
Surely We did offer the Trust (the Spirit) to the heavens and the earth and the mountains but shrank from bearing it and feared from it and man assumed (undertook) it; surely he is very unjust (very wrongdoing), very ignorant.

33/Al-Ahzab-73: LiyuAAaththiba Allahu almunafiqeena waalmunafiqati waalmushrikeena waalmushrikati wayatooba Allahu AAala almumineena waalmuminati wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
So that Allah will torment (punish) the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women and the polytheistic (idolatrous) men and the polytheistic (idolatrous) women [the associators and the associatresses) and Allah will turn to (accepts the repentance of) the believing men and the believing women and Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving (the One Who forgives, Who changes evil deeds into rewards), Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful).
