51/Adh-Dhariyat-1: Waalththariyati tharwan
By those (winds) that scatter (dust) far and wide.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-2: Faalhamilati wiqran
Then those that bear the burden (the clouds loaded with rain).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-3: Faaljariyati yusran
Then those (ships) that glide (float) easily.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-4: Faalmuqassimati amran
Then those who distribute by Command (the affairs to the angels on duty).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-5: Innama tooAAadoona lasadiqun
Verily, that which you are promised is surely true.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-6: Wainna alddeena lawaqiAAun
And the Reckoning (the Reward and the Punishment) will most surely happen (be realized).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-7: Waalssamai thati alhubuki
By the heaven full of circular (elliptic) routes (perfectly marked out).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-8: Innakum lafee qawlin mukhtalifin
Most surely you are in a discordant speech (opinion).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-9: Yufaku AAanhu man ofika
He is turned away from it who would be turned away.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-10: Qutila alkharrasoona
Cursed be (Woe to) the lie-makers.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-11: Allatheena hum fee ghamratin sahoona
Who are careless in a pit [who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful].
51/Adh-Dhariyat-12: Yasaloona ayyana yawmu alddeeni
They ask: When is the Day of Recompense (the Day of the Religion)?
51/Adh-Dhariyat-13: Yawma hum AAala alnnari yuftanoona
(It is) the Day on which they shall be tried over the Fire!
51/Adh-Dhariyat-14: Thooqoo fitnatakum hatha allathee kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloona
Taste your trial (what you have belied). This is what you have sought to hasten on.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-15: Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin
Surely the pious (the owners of piety, Al-Muttaqîn) shall be in Gardens and watersprings (fountains).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-16: Akhitheena ma atahum rabbuhum innahum kanoo qabla thalika muhsineena
Those who have taken what their Lord has given them; surely they were before that, good-doers (Muhsinîn).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-17: Kanoo qaleelan mina allayli ma yahjaAAoona
What (the time) they used to sleep of the night was but little.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-18: Wabialashari hum yastaghfiroona
And in the hours before dawn (at their dawn), they were asking (Allah) for forgiveness.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-19: Wafee amwalihim haqqun lilssaili waalmahroomi
And in their properties there was the right of those who ask (As-Sâil) and of those who are deprived (Al-Mahrûm, who cannot ask).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-20: Wafee alardi ayatun lilmooqineena
And in the earth there are Signs for those who have Faith with certainty (Al-Mûqinîn).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-21: Wafee anfusikum afala tubsiroona
And in your own souls (in yourselves) (too); will you not then see?
51/Adh-Dhariyat-22: Wafee alssamai rizqukum wama tooAAadoona
And in the heaven is your sustenance and that which you are promised.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-23: Fawarabbi alssamai waalardi innahu lahaqqun mithla ma annakum tantiqoona
And by the Lord of the heaven and the earth! It is most surely the truth, as true as that which you speak.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-24: Hal ataka hadeethu dayfi ibraheema almukrameena
Has the news of Abraham’s honored guests come to you?
51/Adh-Dhariyat-25: Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala salamun qawmun munkaroona
When they entered upon him, they said: Peace (be upon you)! He said (too): Peace (be upon you)! (and thought): a people unknown (to me).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-26: Faragha ila ahlihi fajaa biAAijlin sameenin
Then he turned aside to his family secretly and brought a fat (roasted) calf,
51/Adh-Dhariyat-27: Faqarrabahu ilayhim qala ala takuloona
So he brought it near them. He said: Will you not eat?
51/Adh-Dhariyat-28: Faawjasa minhum kheefatan qaloo la takhaf wabashsharoohu bighulamin AAaleemin
Then he conceived fear of them (when they did not eat). They said: Do not fear! And they gave him glad tidings of a son having knowledge (a very learned son).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-29: Faaqbalati imraatuhu fee sarratin fasakkat wajhaha waqalat AAajoozun AAaqeemun
Then his wife came up (reacted to this news) crying and she struck her face and said: (I am) an old barren woman!
51/Adh-Dhariyat-30: Qaloo kathaliki qala rabbuki innahu huwa alhakeemu alAAaleemu
They said: Thus says your Lord: Surely He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-31: Qala fama khatbukum ayyuha almursaloona
He (Abraham) said: What do you intend to say (What is your errand?) then, O Messengers!
51/Adh-Dhariyat-32: Qaloo inna orsilna ila qawmin mujrimeena
They said: Surely We have been sent to a criminal (guilty) people,
51/Adh-Dhariyat-33: Linursila AAalayhim hijaratan min teenin
That we may send down upon them stones of clay.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-34: Musawwamatan AAinda rabbika lilmusrifeena
Marked by your Lord for the extravagant (those who trespass Allah’s set limits).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-35: Faakhrajna man kana feeha mina almumineena
Then We brought forth such as were therein of the believers.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-36: Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena
But We did not find therein save a (single) house of those who submitted (to Allah, the Muslims).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-37: Watarakna feeha ayatan lillatheena yakhafoona alAAathaba alaleema
And We left therein a Sign for those who fear the painful torment.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-38: Wafee moosa ith arsalnahu ila firAAawna bisultanin mubeenin
And in Moses (too, there was a Sign); We had sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority (miracles).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-39: Fatawalla biruknihi waqala sahirun aw majnoonun
But he turned away along with his nobles and said: A magician, or a mad man (a possessed one).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-40: Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi wahuwa muleemun
So We seized him and his hosts and hurled them into the sea, and he was blamable.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-41: Wafee AAadin ith arsalna AAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema
And in (the people of) ‘Âd (there was a Sign): We had sent upon them the devastating (barren) wind.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-42: Ma tatharu min shayin atat AAalayhi illa jaAAalathu kaalrrameemi
It did not leave anything on which it blew, but it made it like ashes.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-43: Wafee thamooda ith qeela lahum tamattaAAoo hatta heenin
And in (the people of) Thamûd (there was a Sign): (when) it was said to them: Enjoy yourselves for a while.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-44: FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathathumu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona
But they revolted against the Commandment of their Lord, so the burning torment (the thunderbolt) overtook them while they were looking on.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-45: Fama istataAAoo min qiyamin wama kanoo muntasireena
So they were not able to get up, nor could they help (defend) themselves.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-46: Waqawma noohin min qablu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena
And the people of Noah before, surely they were a transgressing people (a people who were not in the Way of Allah).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-47: Waalssamaa banaynaha biaydin wainna lamoosiAAoona
And the heaven, We built it with Might and most surely We have been extending (it constantly in the immensity).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-48: Waalarda farashnaha faniAAma almahidoona
And the earth, We have laid it out; how Excellent Spreader (Arranger) are We!
51/Adh-Dhariyat-49: Wamin kulli shayin khalaqna zawjayni laAAallakum tathakkaroona
And of everything We have created two pairs (subsisting with its opposite) that you may deliberate (reflect).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-50: Fafirroo ila Allahi innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun
So flee to Allah (and take refuge in Him) surely I am a plain warner to you from Him.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-51: Wala tajAAaloo maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun
And do not set up with Allah another god; surely I am a plain warner to you from Him.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-52: Kathalika ma ata allatheena min qablihim min rasoolin illa qaloo sahirun aw majnoonun
Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: A magician or a mad man (a possessed one).
51/Adh-Dhariyat-53: Atawasaw bihi bal hum qawmun taghoona
Have they transmitted this (:to say “a magician or a mad man to the Messengers) to each other? Nay! They are an inordinate people.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-54: Fatawalla AAanhum fama anta bimaloomin
Then turn aside from them, you are not blameworthy.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-55: Wathakkir fainna alththikra tanfaAAu almumineena
And (continue to) remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-56: Wama khalaqtu aljinna waalinsa illa liyaAAbudooni
And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve (become servants to) Me.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-57: Ma oreedu minhum min rizqin wama oreedu an yutAAimooni
I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not ask that they should feed Me.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-58: Inna Allaha huwa alrrazzaqu thoo alquwwati almateenu
Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance (the All-Provider), Owner of Power, the Most Strong.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-59: Fainna lillatheena thalamoo thanooban mithla thanoobi ashabihim fala yastaAAjiloona
So surely those who do wrong (who are unjust) shall have a portion (of the torment like the portion (from the torment) of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten (the torment) on.
51/Adh-Dhariyat-60: Fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min yawmihimu allathee yooAAadoona
Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their Day which they have been promised (threatened with).
