80/Abasa-1: AAabasa watawalla
He (The Prophet) frowned and turned away.
80/Abasa-2: An jaahu alaAAma
Because the blind man came to him.
80/Abasa-3: Wama yudreeka laAAallahu yazzakka
And what would make you know that he would purify himself (you cannot know: Perhaps he might purify himself).
80/Abasa-4: Aw yaththakkaru fatanfaAAahu alththikra
Or become reminded (Or he might receive admonition)so that the reminder should profit him(and the admonition might profit him).
80/Abasa-5: Amma mani istaghna
As for him who considers himself self –sufficient (free from need).
80/Abasa-6: Faanta lahu tasadda
To him you eagerly attend (you incline towards him).
80/Abasa-7: Wama AAalayka alla yazzakka
And no blame is on you (what does it matter to you) if he would not purify himself.
80/Abasa-8: Waamma man jaaka yasAAa
And as if him who comes to you running (striving hard).
80/Abasa-9: Wahuwa yakhsha
And he is in awe (of Allah).
80/Abasa-10: Faanta AAanhu talahha
From him will you divert yourself (of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another).
80/Abasa-11: Kalla innaha tathkiratun
Nay (do not do like this)! Surely it (this Qur’an) is a Reminder (an Admonition).
80/Abasa-12: Faman shaa thakarahu
so let him who wills deliberate (remember, pay heed to) it.
80/Abasa-13: Fee suhufin mukarramatin
(It is) in Honored Pages.
80/Abasa-14: MarfooAAatin mutahharatin
Exalted, Purified.
80/Abasa-15: Biaydee safaratin
in the hands of scribes.
80/Abasa-16: Kiramin bararatin
(Written with the hands of) the noble, the truthful.
80/Abasa-17: Qutila alinsanu ma akfarahu
Ruined (cursed) be man! (He has ruined himself by being expelled from Allah’s Mercy)! How ungrateful is he!
80/Abasa-18: Min ayyi shayin khalaqahu
From what thing did He create him?
80/Abasa-19: Min nutfatin khalaqahu faqaddarahu
From a Nutfah (a drop of sperm); He created him, then proportioned him [He made program of his development (his DNA’s) and appointed to him a life time].
80/Abasa-20: Thumma alssabeela yassarahu
Then (as for) the way He has made it easy for him.
80/Abasa-21: Thumma amatahu faaqbarahu
Then He caused him to die and buried him.
80/Abasa-22: Thumma itha shaa ansharahu
Then when He wills, He will raise him to life again.
80/Abasa-23: Kalla lamma yaqdi ma amarahu
Nay; but (man) has not carried out what He commanded him.
80/Abasa-24: Falyanthuri alinsanu ila taAAamihi
Then let man look to his food,
80/Abasa-25: Anna sababna almaa sabban
How We pour down the water (the rain) pouring (it) down in abundance.
80/Abasa-26: Thumma shaqaqna alarda shaqqan
Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder (Then We split the earth in clefts).
80/Abasa-27: Faanbatna feeha habban
Then We cause to grow therein the grain,
80/Abasa-28: WaAAinaban waqadban
And grapes, and clover plants (green fodder for the cattle).
80/Abasa-29: Wazaytoonan wanakhlan
And olives and date-palms,
80/Abasa-30: Wahadaiqa ghulban
And enclosed gardens, dense with lofty trees,
80/Abasa-31: Wafakihatan waabban
And fruits and pasture (herbage).
80/Abasa-32: MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum
(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle
80/Abasa-33: Faitha jaati alssakhkhatu
But when the Deafening Cry(As-Sakhkhah) comes.
80/Abasa-34: Yawma yafirru almaro min akheehi
That Day a man flees from his brother,
80/Abasa-35: Waommihi waabeehi
and his mother and his father,
80/Abasa-36: Wasahibatihi wabaneehi
And his wife and his son
80/Abasa-37: Likulli imriin minhum yawmaithin shanun yughneehi
For each one of them there is on that Day (of Permission) an affair which will occupy him (an affair which will be too much for him).
80/Abasa-38: Wujoohun yawmaithin musfiratun
(Some) faces that Day will be bright (radiant)
80/Abasa-39: Dahikatun mustabshiratun
Laughing, rejoicing at good news;
80/Abasa-40: Wawujoohun yawmaithin AAalayha ghabaratun
And (other) faces, that Day,will be dust- stained[And (other) faces that Day, on them shall be dust]
80/Abasa-41: Tarhaquha qataratun
Darkness will cover them
80/Abasa-42: Olaika humu alkafaratu alfajaratu
These are they who are disbelievers, the wicked (the deviant).
